1-300 Vanilla Mining:

• Two approaches: mine ore directly or purchase ore from the auction house and smelt it into metal bars.

• Key materials required include Copper Ore, Tin Ore, Silver Ore, Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Mithril Ore, Truesilver Ore, and Thorium Ore.

• Optimal smelting progression provided from 1-300.

1-75 Outland Mining:

1-75 Cataclysm Mining:

• Optimal locations for ore farming are Twilight Highlands and Uldum.

• Seek a trainer in your faction's capital.

1-75 Pandaria Mining:

• Trainers: Rockseeker Guo (Alliance) and Stonebreaker Ruian (Horde) in The Jade Forest.
