This section covers all the major seasonal events in Destiny 2 - from the competitive Guardian Games to the cozy winter holiday Dawning. Each event is unique, featuring its own set of activities, themed atmosphere, exclusive rewards, and rare weapons. Guardian Games
An annual competitive event where the three classes — Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks — compete for the title of the best class of the year. Players complete special objectives, earn medals, and contribute to their team’s overall progress. In addition to the standard activities, Guardian Games are known for offering exclusive gear items that can’t be obtained at any other time of year. Participants can unlock themed weapons, emblems, ships, and shaders, while the winning class earns a permanent place in the event’s history.

Solstice
A bright summer event filled with energy and festive spirit. The main goal is to upgrade and enhance the unique Solstice armor, which begins to glow after reaching its final stage, highlighting the player’s achievement. The event also offers special materials, seasonal quests, and themed weapons.

New in 2025:
This year’s Solstice introduces two new weapons:

• Festival fligh - the first Strand grenade launcher with the “Burstfire” frame, available exclusively during this event. It features an eye-catching design and excellent perks for PvE.

• Yeartide apex - a legendary submachine gun with an excellent perk pool, ideal for dedicated PvE players.

Both weapons can be obtained by actively participating in the event’s activities and completing portal challenges.

Festival of the Lost
A fall event with a mysterious, horror-inspired atmosphere and masquerade helmets. The main activity is exploring Haunted Sectors, where players fight enemies, complete objectives, and collect candy. This candy can be exchanged for unique weapons, ornaments, and cosmetics available only during the Festival. Each year, new thematically designed weapons are added, making the event especially valuable for collectors.

The Dawning
A winter holiday event filled with warmth and joy. Players bake treats for NPCs using ingredients obtained in combat. By completing objectives and preparing festive goodies, you can unlock unique shaders, ships, Ghost shells, and exclusive weapons. Special emphasis is placed on team-based activities, allowing you to gather the required materials faster and claim the main rewards of the season.
