WoW Forever Onyxia's Lair Attunement Boost FAQ
What is required for Onyxia's Lair attunement?
You need to complete your faction-specific attunement quest chain and obtain the Drakefire Amulet. The amulet must be kept in your bags when entering the raid.
Are the Alliance and Horde attunement chains the same?
No. Alliance and Horde follow different quest chains, but both ultimately award the Drakefire Amulet required to enter Onyxia's Lair.
What is included in Onyxia's Lair Attunement Boost?
The service covers the required prerequisites, faction-specific quest progression, and all necessary steps until the Drakefire Amulet is obtained. Existing quest progress can be continued from the current stage.
Do I need to repeat the attunement before every raid?
No. Once you have obtained the Drakefire Amulet, the full quest chain does not need to be repeated. Keep the amulet in your bags when entering Onyxia's Lair.
Unlock Onyxia's Lair
WoW Forever Onyxia's Lair Attunement Boost completes the quest progression required to enter the raid.
Access is tied to the Drakefire Amulet, which must be kept in your character's bags when entering Onyxia's Lair. The service covers the required progression from your current quest status until the amulet is obtained. Wowhead
Complete the Full Faction-Specific Quest Chain
Alliance and Horde follow different attunement routes, but both ultimately lead to the same raid access reward.
The Alliance chain begins in Burning Steppes, while the Horde route begins in the Badlands. Both eventually progress through high-level objectives connected to Blackrock Spire before the Drakefire Amulet is awarded. Wowhead
The service follows the correct chain for your character's faction from its current progression point.
Get the Drakefire Amulet
The Drakefire Amulet is the key reward of the attunement chain and the item required to enter Onyxia's Lair.
Once the questline is complete, the amulet remains with your character. It needs to be in your bags when you enter the raid, so there is no need to repeat the full attunement chain before future Onyxia runs. Wowhead
Complete Every Required Prerequisite
Onyxia attunement is not a single quest. It is a longer progression route containing faction-specific prerequisites, travel, story objectives, and high-level quest steps.
The boost covers the required progression rather than leaving individual prerequisites unfinished. If your character has already completed part of the chain, the service can continue from the current available stage.
Finish the Blackrock Spire Stage
Both attunement routes eventually lead into high-level Blackrock Spire progression. The final portion requires obtaining the necessary quest objective before the Drakefire Amulet can be completed. Wowhead
Once that requirement is finished, your character receives the amulet and is ready for Onyxia's Lair.
Keep Eligible Quest Rewards
Your character keeps the eligible rewards earned while completing the attunement chain, including quest gold, items, experience where applicable, and other progression provided by the quests themselves.
The main result remains the completed attunement and the Drakefire Amulet required for raid access.
Get Raid-Ready Before Your Onyxia Run
Completing the attunement in advance prevents raid access from becoming the last obstacle when your group is ready to enter.
With the Drakefire Amulet already obtained and stored in your bags, your character is prepared for future Onyxia's Lair runs without repeating the lengthy faction questline.
