Guardians are tasked with stopping the Hive from reviving Oryx, the Taken King, whose body rests at the bottom of Titan’s ocean after the events of the King’s Fall raid.

At first, the boss is invulnerable, and the encounter revolves around removing this invulnerability, which is complex. Additionally, Simmumah’s Ghost must be crushed to fully defeat him; otherwise, he will resurrect, and the battle must be repeated.
