AION 2 Daily and Weekly Checklist for New Players
What You Actually Need to Do Regularly in AION 2
AION 2 launched globally on October 5, 2026, with Founder's Pack early access opening on September 30. The game is free to play on PC through Steam and PURPLE, and the level cap at launch is 45. Most of the routine comes down to one thing: not losing what builds up or expires on its own.
Like other Korean MMORPGs, progress here is throttled by energy pools and attempt limits. There are only a few true daily tasks, but plenty of weekly activities and slowly refilling resources, which makes it easy to forget something. Below is an order that works, plus the things worth saving for late in the week.
According to community guides, daily reset happens at 7:00 UTC and the weekly reset on Wednesday at 7:00 UTC. Convert that to your time zone once and set a reminder.
The Daily Minimum: Duty Quests
The main daily activity is Duty Quests. Player reports put the limit at 5 per day, and most of them send you into the open world to kill a few enemies or a nearby boss, so they take only a few minutes.

Each quest gives a guaranteed reward plus several random options to pick from. Among the random ones, look first for:
crystals of any type;
Hidden Cube Keys;
Unique-grade or higher items and materials.
Duty Quests refresh daily, so it makes sense to take them right after logging in. After that comes everything that refills by itself, where the main rule is to avoid sitting at the cap: once you hit it, you stop gaining anything new.
Weekly Activities and Refilling Resources
The weekly list is shorter than it looks. It consists of a few modes with limited attempts and a few resources that regenerate over time. Modes first, based on player reports.

Ascension Trial - a solo dungeon with several rooms and a boss at the end, up to 3 runs per week per character. Higher difficulty means better rewards. Do not burn all three right after reset: your character is stronger later in the week and can clear a harder version.
Daily Dungeon - despite the name, the limit is weekly, around 14 entries. Each run gives you 90 seconds, and the reward depends on how many enemies you kill. Waiting until your character is stronger pays off here too.
Battlefield - the balanced PvP mode, reportedly 3 victory rewards per week. There is no reason to save it for later, so win whenever it fits.
Do not confuse these with the Ascension quest that unlocks the wings at levels 22, 32 and 45. The names are close, but the content is different.
Self-refilling resources are summarized below. The Shugo Festival and Nightmare numbers come from player descriptions, so check exact values in the interface.
Resource | Unlocks at | Regeneration | Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
Odyle Energy | Level 22 | 15 per 3 hours (120 per day) | 560, 840 with Membership |
Shugo Festival keys | Level 13 | 2 per day | 14 |
Nightmare tickets | Level 45 | 2 per day | 14 |
Odyle Energy: What to Spend It On and When
Odyle Energy pays for dungeon rewards: after the final boss you open a loot cube, and one cube costs 40. The system unlocks at level 22 and regenerates 15 every 3 hours.
Once the pool is full, regeneration stops. The cap is 560 without Membership and 840 with it. Without a subscription that cap is close: 560 fills in under five days, and if you play less often, part of the energy is wasted.
A practical approach is to avoid both extremes. Do not sit at the cap, and do not dump everything instantly; spend it when you are running a dungeon whose reward you actually want. Player guides also say the Odyle pool is tracked per character, so an alt that reaches level 22 builds its own pool. If you plan to play alts, get them to that level early.
Membership also gives access to the Wind Breeze Merchant, which reportedly sells some weekly items. It is server-bound and costs about $14.99 per 30 days. Decide based on how many hours a week you really play.
Artifact Siege and Abyss Corridors
The Abyss opens at level 45 and Item Level 1,000. That is where the PvP quests from the Abyss merchant and the Abyss bosses live. Most guides put the weekly time limit in the Abyss at about 7 hours.

The main Abyss event is Artifact Siege. Factions fight over three artifacts in Chaotic Lower Reshanta. The exact days and times for Global are not confirmed everywhere, and sources describe the Korean schedule differently, so check the in-game event calendar.
Player reports say Abyss Corridors open after a siege: a short instance of about 2 minutes where you kill as many enemies as you can for Kinah and Abyss Points. Corridor rules vary between guides, with some giving them to the winners and others to the disadvantaged faction. Run a Corridor when one is available, but do not plan your week around it.
Optional Content: World Bosses and Supply Requests
These are not part of the mandatory minimum, but they can pay off.
World Bosses. Player reports mention bosses in the open world and separate ones in the Abyss, with a chance at loot for taking part. Do not build a schedule around regular bosses, but if one spawns while you are online, it is worth joining.
Supply Requests. These ask you to hand in gear, materials or resources for Abyss Points and rewards. Player reports describe daily Emergency requests, weekly ones and seasonal ones. Check the market price before turning anything in; sometimes selling the material for Kinah is the better deal.
The 10-player raid was temporarily removed on October 7, so it is not part of this checklist.
How to Spread the Week
A working routine looks like this:
Get every planned character to level 22 so Odyle Energy starts building, and your main to level 45.
Finish Duty Quests daily and check that no resource is sitting at its cap.
Early in the week, do Battlefield and anything that does not depend on character strength.
Leave Ascension Trial and Daily Dungeon for the second half of the week.
A day before reset, check remaining attempts and spend the Odyle Energy you have built up.
If you joined after launch week, the same order applies: your first cycle is simply shorter, so take whatever disappears at reset first.
If time is tight, keep it minimal: Duty Quests every day, one Ascension Trial run and a few Daily Dungeon entries closer to reset, and spend Odyle Energy on the most useful dungeon. The rest can wait for next week; the key is to keep resources from sitting at their caps, since that is where most of the value is lost.
Alts: What a Second Character Adds
Some limits are tracked per character, so alts bring extra attempts. According to player reports, Ascension Trial runs, Battlefield rewards and the Odyle Energy pool are separate for each character, while Duty Quests are shared.
Alts are optional, but if you have spare time they are the simplest way to earn more without piling more work on your main. Start by getting a second character to level 22 so its Odyle Energy begins to accumulate as early as possible.
