ARC Raiders Last Resort: Merits, Ship Models and Every Track Reward

What Last Resort Was and What Is Left of It

Last Resort was a limited-time event that arrived with the Riven Tides update in ARC Raiders. It ran from April 28 to May 25, 2026. The exact closing hour was never spelled out, so some write-ups also mention May 26. The facts here are current as of October 18, 2026: the event is long over, and no return has been officially announced.

There was no separate mode. You queued for ordinary raids, turned the XP you earned into an event currency called Merits, and unlocked a 21-reward track: Junior Outfit pieces, the Hydrologist Backpack, emotes, charms and 250 Raider Tokens.

This breakdown is useful in two cases. If you missed the event, it shows exactly what is absent from your collection. If you are waiting for a rerun, the numbers below let you estimate in advance how many raids it will take.

How Merits Were Earned

Merits came from XP at a rate of 100 XP per 1 Merit. The conversion only happened after a successful extraction, so a player who died in a raid lost all the XP that had not yet been turned into event points.

Any map counted, and you did not have to switch to special objectives. XP came from raid goals, fights with ARC, looting and the extraction itself. The arithmetic is simple: clearing the whole 3,150-Merit track took about 315,000 XP.

  • Safety beat risk. XP was lost on death, so a short raid with a clean extraction gave more progress than a long fight over one loot spot.

  • Familiar routes. Since the map did not matter, the best routes were the ones you already knew by heart.

  • Level and skills. A higher level made clears steadier, and both leveling and points well spent in the skill tree made raids more reliable.

Ship Models: Value and Where to Look

Ship Models were collectible miniature ships. Each one gave bonus Merits when found, and the amount depended on rarity. The values were:

  • Wind Sprite (Common): 5 Merits.

  • Twilight Compass (Uncommon): 10 Merits.

  • Velocity (Rare): 25 Merits.

  • Sirena Dorata (Epic): 50 Merits.

  • Leviathan's Crown (Legendary): 250 Merits.

A full set of all five came to 340 Merits, a little over a tenth of the track. A single Leviathan's Crown was worth 25,000 XP, so hunting for it justified some risk, while a Wind Sprite was never worth leaving your route.

Players were pointed to the Riven Tides map. Common and uncommon models turned up in the Hotel Panorama Azzurro, in the Port Authority Building and its interiors, at the Weighing Checkpoint and in containers. Rarer models sat in Beachcombing caches: under that map condition the Dockmaster's Detector worked, and the beach north of the Port Authority was the place to sweep with it. Merits from XP counted on every map, while Ship Model spots were specific to Riven Tides.

Locked rooms on such routes open with keys, and for extra room for loot a stash expansion helps.

Which Rewards Mattered Most

Raider Tokens appeared on the track four times: 50, 50, 50 and 100, 250 in total. The first 50 unlocked at 900 Merits, roughly 90,000 XP. For anyone not planning to finish the whole track, that was a sensible place to stop.

The cosmetics broke down like this: Junior Outfit colors (Beige, Copper Blue, Rogue Lemon, Cyan Skull, Cobalt) and separate pieces of the set (Pauldrons, Kneepads, Headgear, Mask), the Hydrologist Backpack with the Hose Backpack Attachment, the Brass Faucet charm and two emotes, Peace Emote and Heel Click Emote. Canto 1, White Flag and Crash Mat stay in the list under their in-game names.

Which reward is best comes down to taste. As a collection, the main prize was the full outfit: its last piece, the Mask, only unlocked at the most expensive 3,150 Merits.

How Much XP Each Milestone Cost

The step between rewards was always 150 Merits, or 15,000 XP. That makes a handy yardstick: any raid can be judged by what share of a step it covers. A single Wind Sprite added 5 Merits, or 500 XP, while a Leviathan's Crown gave 250 Merits, which is a whole step plus 100 Merits on top.

The milestones that mattered looked like this:

  • 900 Merits (about 90,000 XP): the first 50 Raider Tokens and five items before them.

  • 1,650 Merits (about 165,000 XP): a little over half the track, where White Flag unlocked.

  • 2,850 Merits (about 285,000 XP): the last and largest Raider Tokens payout, 100 of them.

  • 3,150 Merits (about 315,000 XP): the whole track and the final Junior Outfit piece.

Spread over the month, the track needed a little over 11,000 XP a day if you played all 28 days. Players who only logged in on weekends had to earn far more per session.

How Players Cleared the Track Faster

The working formula was short raids on a familiar map, objectives with a clear payoff, fights with ARC only when they were safe, and a guaranteed extraction. XP built up evenly, and one failed raid did not wreck the overall pace.

  • Weapons. A reliable build sped up clears. When the basic options fell short, weapon blueprints filled the gap.

  • Workbench. Between raids it was handy to prepare gear, and a crafting station upgrade widened what could be made.

  • Quests. Quests were done in the same raids, so they combined well with event XP.

  • Coins. Earned coins went into gear for the next runs.

Pushing too hard for Ship Models rarely paid off: five models brought 340 Merits, while one cleanly finished raid gave steady XP. They were best treated as a pleasant bonus on a route.

Will Last Resort Return

As of October 18, 2026 there is no official announcement of a rerun. Items that came only from the track can no longer be earned. If the event comes back, you will most likely have to collect the same 3,150 Merits again, so it pays to prepare in advance.

  • Decide where you will stop: 900 Merits for the first Raider Tokens, or all 3,150 for the complete set.

  • Keep a Dockmaster's Detector ready and learn the Beachcombing condition on Riven Tides, since it ties into the rarer Ship Models.

  • Get your gear and level in order early so event raids are not spent on preparation.
