ARC Raiders Reward Pass Guide: Free vs Premium
What the Reward Pass Brings
With the Frozen Trail update, ARC Raiders gained a Reward Pass. The developers describe it as an evolution of Raider Decks, but in practice it works much closer to a classic battle pass: you complete Feats, climb a level track and unlock rewards. Frozen Trail went live on October 8, 2026, so the pass is available now.
The key point up front: according to the announcement, all gameplay content sits on the Free track. The paid track adds cosmetics and Raider Tokens, so buying it gives no edge in a raid.
Below are both tracks, progression, what happened to old Raider Decks and Cred, and who actually needs Premium. The figures follow the developers' announcement, so some details may change during the season.
How the Pass Is Built
The pass has 60 levels, and the two tracks run side by side. As described, each pass is tied to the update it ships with, and the first one belongs to Frozen Trail.
Reward | Free | Premium |
|---|---|---|
Progress through 60 levels | Yes | Yes |
New base outfits | Yes | No |
Weapons and gadgets | Yes | No |
Cosmetic items | Yes | Yes |
Premium outfit variants and colorways | No | Yes |
Legendary Weapon Stencils and hairstyles | No | Yes |
Raider Tokens | up to 200 | up to 1150 |
Finish both tracks and you can collect up to 1350 Raider Tokens in total. Tokens are a paid currency, unlike the regular coins you gather in raids, and you can spend them on the next pass or as a discount on outfits in the store.
That is the core economy of the system. Buy Premium once and finish every level, and you get back what you spent plus up to 200 more Tokens from the Free track. The next pass can then be paid for with currency you already earned, as long as you reach the end of the bar every time. So assess your play habits honestly first.
The Free Track
The Free track is more generous than you might expect: per the announcement, the new weapons, gadgets and other gameplay items of Frozen Trail live here. The Stiletto, the Bantam and the grapple hook are named among them. The developers have not revealed which item lands on which level, so check the order in game.

Besides gear, the Free track is announced to include:
five new outfits;
about 20 cosmetic items: outfits for Scrappy the Rooster, Raider Outpost furniture, charms, weapon attachments and emotes;
up to 200 Raider Tokens.
The free outfits are called Caposta, Carriga, Deadwire, Banshee and Ice Giant. Caposta is a military coat with pauldrons, and Carriga is styled after cultist clothing with a mask.
If you are not sure you will stay in the game for long, the Free track is enough: per the announcement, nothing important for combat sits behind the paywall.
In practice, a newcomer or a returning player has no reason to rush with money. Just play, complete Feats and pick up new gear as levels open. The Premium decision can wait until you see how much you like the rhythm of the pass.
The Premium Track
Premium costs 1150 Raider Tokens. Across 60 levels it is announced to carry premium variants of the pass outfits, extra modifications and colorways, exclusive Legendary Weapon Stencils, hairstyles and up to 1150 Raider Tokens.

The logic is simple: Free holds the gameplay items, Premium holds looks and Tokens. If you reach the last level, the Tokens from the paid track return the purchase price, and together with the Free track the total reaches that 1350.
One caveat: the refund works only if you finish everything. Stop halfway and part of the price stays unrecovered.
In numbers: you pay 1150 Tokens and, on a full run, get the same 1150 back, plus up to 200 from the Free track. The pass ends up costing nothing, and the outfits, hairstyles and stencils stay with you. For cosmetic collectors that is a convenient setup. For everyone else the paid track adds little.
The Frozen Trail Collector Set
You can also get Premium as part of the Frozen Trail Collector Set. According to its listed contents, it includes:

the Premium Reward Pass;
the Renzo outfit with variants;
the Dragon's Breath weapon stencil;
the Bob hairstyle;
the Scasso Raider tool;
the Renegade Censer backpack bling;
Kabuki face paint;
the Retro Sofa recipe for the Outpost;
2400 Raider Tokens;
the Banjo Blueprint.
The Banjo from that list is a weapon blueprint, and judging by the set description, the standalone Premium pass does not include it. The set makes sense for players who have already decided on Premium and want all the Frozen Trail cosmetics at once.
Progressing Through the Pass
Pass experience comes from Feats. They resemble quests: rewards are tied to specific actions in raids, much like Raider Decks worked.
The developers have not published the full Frozen Trail Feat list or the requirements for each level, so the time needed for the whole pass cannot be named: the pace becomes clear during the season.
A practical tip: do not rush to buy Premium on day one. A couple of evenings on the Free track will show how fast the bar fills, and the decision will be an informed one. The pass bar also runs separately from regular character leveling, so one does not replace the other.
Old Raider Decks and Cred
Raider Decks did not vanish. Per the announced changes, all old cosmetic rewards and Tokens are merged into a free Legacy Reward Pass.
Rewards you already claimed stay yours.
Rewards you missed can still be earned through the Legacy Pass.
The Legacy Pass is free for everyone.
Cred is different: it does not carry over. When Frozen Trail launched on October 8, any remaining Cred expired and was not converted into Tokens or pass progress. There was no compensation for leftovers.
If you are returning after a break, check the Legacy Pass first: what you missed there can be caught up for free.
It is also a good way to see what cosmetics you still lack before spending Tokens on Premium. Some of what you want may already be waiting on a free track.
Is Premium Worth Buying
Short answer: yes, if you play regularly and expect to reach level 60. Then the paid track returns its Tokens, and you can put them toward the next pass.
Play often and plan to finish the pass: get Premium.
Want only weapons and gameplay novelties: stay on Free.
Unsure about your pace: play first, decide later.
Want the full cosmetic package: look at the Collector Set.
A word on money: many players already hold Raider Tokens, because the earlier Raider Decks paid them out. Check your balance before buying: your savings may already cover Premium, so no real money is needed. If you are short, compare the price of topping up with the price of the Collector Set, which contains both Premium and 2400 Tokens.
If you also play the Expedition, estimate your free time in advance, and if it will not cover the pass, hold off on Premium.
