What Is Left of the Season 6 Events

Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 6 launched on September 17, 2026 at 9 AM PT on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. This recap covers its four events: The Haunting, Camo Costume Party, DOOM Event Pass and Forbidden Summoning. Data is current as of October 18, 2026.

What matters today: some of the events are already closed. According to player reports, Camo Costume Party ran until October 8 and the DOOM Event Pass until October 15. The Haunting has no official end date, and Modern Warfare 4 is five days away, launching on October 23.

If you missed some rewards, the sections below show what was on offer and what you can still catch.

The Haunting: A Halloween Program by Mode

The Haunting is not a standalone pass with shared progress. It is an umbrella over Halloween maps, modes and activities. Rewards sit in individual activities rather than one track, so you collect them one by one.

Zombies and a squad near the Japanese castle in Black Ops 7 Zombies

In Multiplayer, T.E.D.D. Trials has been available since launch: 6v6 on three Zombies-themed maps, Roadkill, Lost and Inferno. The team that completes more tasks wins. Hordepoint (seize the objective to unleash zombies on your opponents) and Freeze Tag are counted by the developers among the season's limited-time modes, and there is no word yet on when they arrive.

Zombies gets the Tenshu Survival map. Reaching rounds 10, 25 and 50 pays out an animated emblem, a weapon charm, a GobbleGum and XP. According to player descriptions, the action takes place inside Kowakujo castle, with rooms such as the Onsen Baths and the War Room. According to player reports, the Rogue Run roguelike mode also received a Halloween update with pumpkin-headed enemies and pedestal rewards.

For solo players the Zombies map is the easiest fit: rounds count without a team, and three rewards give a clear goal for an evening. T.E.D.D. Trials is better played with a squad: tasks change during the match, and coordination matters more than aim.

The night version of Avalon in Endgame and the Forbidden Summoning world event have their own section, and Warzone's Haunted Hollow comes after that. For a quick comparison, the maps are in the table.

Camo Costume Party: How the Camos Were Earned

The event was built on weapon class challenges. There were 36 in total, nine in each of four modes: Co-Op/Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone. According to player reports, the window ran from September 17 to October 8 at 10 AM PT, so it is closed now.

Each completed challenge gave a static camo for that weapon class plus XP (reportedly 2,500 per challenge). Finishing all nine in one mode unlocked that mode's animated Mastery camo. The Arcblade melee weapon needed just any nine challenges: modes could be mixed, and clearing all four was not required. All 36 together unlocked the hidden Oozed camo.

The practical takeaway: the event never asked you to be perfect everywhere. For the Arcblade, nine challenges in whichever modes suit you best were enough. If you missed the window, regular Mastery camos remain. Weapon Leveling helps there, and for Zombies camos you can look at orders like the Arachnida, Serpentinite and Bioluminescent Zombie Camo.

Oozed was the event's grand prize. Descriptions of the other camos vary, with names like Undergrowth, Gray Matter and Gravebloom, so check the in-game events screen.

DOOM Event Pass: Free and Premium Tracks

The pass started on September 24, a week after the season began. It reportedly ran until October 15 in Black Ops 7 and Warzone. Progress came from XP milestones rather than missions, and any mode counted: Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame or Warzone.

An armored operator with a glowing axe and a demon from Hell

The free track held the Roc 20mm Special Weapon, the scientist operator skins for Wei Lin and Falkner, a spray, a sticker, a loading screen and an emblem. You did not have to pay for the Roc 20mm. The premium track had the Doom Slayer operator and the Doom Guy skin. According to player reports, premium cost 1,100 COD Points.

The Roc 20mm is also mentioned among event and weekly challenge rewards, so with the pass closed the weapon may still be reachable another way. Check the in-game events screen before writing it off.

The pass suited anyone who plays daily: XP came from any mode and built up alongside the Battle Pass, and the free track gave a weapon at no cost. For players who wanted to clear both tracks, Leveling was the shortcut.

Warzone: Haunted Hollow and Giant Infected

The Halloween version of Haven's Hollow is called Haunted Hollow. It also hosts Giant Infected, a 64-player mode where eight randomly picked players start infected and everyone else survives. That is how players describe the mode.

A glowing green ghost train on a bridge in the fog

Besides the mode, the map has the Ghost Train, whose carriages hold supplies, a Buy Station and a Mystery Box, and Trick or Treat Pumpkins near shops: each gives loot or springs a nasty trick. The train is open for a limited time and other squads can climb aboard, so arrive as a full team.

If you play Warzone for seasonal goals and don't want to spend whole evenings on them, split the tasks across sessions: pumpkins and the train are easy to check during regular matches, while Giant Infected is better saved for a night with a squad.

Forbidden Summoning in Endgame

Forbidden Summoning is an Endgame world event on the Avalon Night map. It was available from day one of the season. You open the seals and release an ancient threat, and the developers recommend bringing backup to the final fight.

The event exists only in Endgame, not in Warzone. The event has no dedicated reward, so count on the usual Endgame payouts. Don't plan a tactic around the number of seals or the final enemy in advance; it is better to find out as you play.

If you have only played Multiplayer so far, it makes sense to run through the Campaign before Endgame and get comfortable with Black Ops 7 mechanics.

What to Do Before Modern Warfare 4

Until October 23, make use of what is still open. Check which Halloween modes are in rotation and pick up the Tenshu rewards if you haven't reached rounds 10, 25 and 50.

A checklist for the remaining days:

  • Zombies: reach rounds 10, 25 and 50 on Tenshu for the emblem, charm and GobbleGum.

  • Endgame: run Forbidden Summoning with a squad on Avalon Night while the event is up.

  • Multiplayer: play T.E.D.D. Trials and check whether Hordepoint and Freeze Tag have appeared.

  • Warzone: visit Haunted Hollow while the map is in rotation.

Closed events can't be caught up on, so focus on things with no deadline: levels, weapon mastery and Prestige don't depend on seasonal windows.

The bottom line: Camo Costume Party and the DOOM Event Pass are behind us, while The Haunting and Forbidden Summoning can still be caught before Modern Warfare 4. If you come back to Season 6 later, keep this recap as a rewards reference.
