Black Ops 7 Zombies Super Easter Egg Guide
Six maps, six toys and one finale
The Super Easter Egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies is a quest that runs through all six round-based maps: Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum, Paradox Junction, Totenreich, Kowakujo and Rex Infernus. Each map has a side chain separate from its regular Main Quest, and each one ends with a toy. There are six in total, and the sixth unlocks the final Boss Rush.
The first five toys can be collected in any order and over as many sessions as you like. Picking one up is not enough, though: you also have to Exfil successfully while carrying it. Only then does it appear on the shelf inside Her House on Rex Infernus. The sixth toy, the Warden Toy, is earned on Rex Infernus itself through a parkour run and three soul challenges.
The steps below follow player and guide-author reports, so for random spawns and co-op bugs trust what you see in your own match. Information is current as of 10/18/2026.
Map | Toy | Key mechanic |
|---|---|---|
Ashes of the Damned | Ol' Tessie Toy | The Twins, Monolith Forest crystals, Fumigator |
Astra Malorum | Caltheris Toy | Five clocks, nine lanterns, the UFO on Mars |
Paradox Junction | Twin Dolls | Three Mr. Peeks parts, a chase through Nuketown |
Totenreich | Guardian Toy | Iceberg, Silent Heir crossbow, King Draugvald |
Kowakujo | Z-Rex Toy | Cherry trees, origami bird, tornado |
Rex Infernus | Warden Toy | Hidden grapple lock, toy horses, three soul challenges |
What you need before starting
First, finish the Main Quest on each of the six maps. You can do that in Standard, Cursed or Directed Mode. The new toy quests, however, reportedly do not count in Directed Mode, so use Standard or Cursed Mode for them.
A few general rules that save time:
Grabbing a toy is not enough. It has to appear in the Exfil booth, and you have to leave the map successfully.
A registered toy stays registered. All six do not need to happen in one session.
Many steps depend on Main Quest progress: Wonder Weapons, unlocked areas and Field Upgrades.
In solo, avoid Save and Quit in the middle of a toy quest. It is safer to finish it and Exfil in a single match.
In co-op, make sure every squad member has personally registered their toy. Players reported that the launch version of the quest could fail to award completion to anyone who had not registered the final toy themselves.
Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum and Paradox Junction
On Ashes of the Damned, the main landmarks are the mysterious Twins and a floating Toy Box above the windmill at Vandorn Farm. You pull it down with the Necrofluid Gauntlet, find three crystals on the monoliths in the fog of Monolith Forest, fumigate them with a Fumigator and bring a meteor shard back to the box. Crystal positions are random and the fog is full of zombies, so bring Decoys, Monkey Bombs or Aether Shroud to buy breathing room. The reward is the Ol' Tessie Toy.
Astra Malorum has the longest of the five preliminary chains. You knock the Toy Box down with explosives and a Kazimir grenade, mount the DG-2 turret on Ol' Tessie and finish O.S.C.A.R. to discharge the box. After that come the shooting star in the telescope, five grandfather clocks you must melee in quick succession, nine lanterns with Wisps and a trip to Mars. There, two Shock Charges power the plates, a UFO appears and four objects (flamingo, toilet, space suit, lava lamp) must be fed to it in Morse code order. The reward is the Caltheris Toy. Start the side steps alongside the Main Quest, since some of them happen along the way.
Paradox Junction is shorter. In the intact Nuketown, a chalk-drawn box becomes real once you turn a chalk question mark into a key with a Psyche Grenade. In the destroyed version you then look for three missing Mr. Peeks parts (six possible spots, one behind a garage door opened through the RC-XD), followed by a chase after a stuffed animal that teleports when you touch it. Solo gives you more time on the chase, while in co-op it helps to spread out. The reward is the Twin Dolls.
Totenreich and Kowakujo

Totenreich needs Wildfire and a fishing rod. At the dock in Eidskallen Square, set the rod at the fishing spot, activate Wildfire, wait for the line to move and reel the iceberg to the dock. Do not pull too early, since the step can soft-lock. Melt the ice with fire and the Toy Box is revealed.
Next, at the damaged edge of the lighthouse's first floor, go prone to pick up the Silent Heir crossbow. King Draugvald spawns in the Burial Grounds, and the killing blow must come from that crossbow. Upgrade its rarity and Pack-a-Punch level beforehand, because the king has a big health pool and regenerates. If you kill him with something else, advance a round and return. Put his crown in the box to receive the Guardian Toy.
Kowakujo has one of the shortest quests. Activate the cherry tree near Pack-a-Punch, gain the overheal glow and run in circles on the rooftops under the floating box: a tornado forms, knocks it down and a bird flies out. Guide the bird across three trees in strict order: Kitchens, Staging, Training. Then run circles around the stump in the Central Courtyard until a glowing origami bird drops. Place it in the box to get the Z-Rex Toy. If the overheal fades, go back to an active tree.
Rex Infernus: the sixth toy

Before you begin, progress the Main Quest far enough to get Warden's Blight, return to Her House, retrieve the Eye and upgrade your grapple. Only then can you find the hidden lock under the bridge in Nyxara's Passage. Move around underneath until your reticle reacts.
Grappling the lock starts a parkour course around Her House, reportedly with roughly 90 seconds on the clock. There is one route, and a miss drops you back on the main map, so advance a round and try again. At the end waits a ghostly Toy Box. Stand on the platform until it tips over, then activate Aether Shroud and interact with the box while the Field Upgrade is running. Toy horses appear above three Insula islands.
Find the horses above the Jugger-Nog, Widow's Wine and PhD Flopper areas. Grapple up and melee a horse while airborne so it breaks and leaves a ghostly item. Each item works as a Soul Box and asks for its own kind of kill:
Shoes (Spyra Insula): kill zombies while jumping or airborne.
Skates (Arania Insula): get kills with PhD Flopper explosions.
Shoelaces: kill zombies while Frenzied Guard is active.
There is no exact kill count. Watch the item: once it turns from ghostly to solid, the challenge is done. Then wait for an Exfil round, but do not start the Exfil. Head to Nexus Forge instead, where a portal to Her House opens during the Exfil window. Put all three items in the box, take the Warden Toy, go upstairs and place it on the shelf next to the other five.
The Boss Rush in Veytharion's Sepulcher

Once all six toys sit on the shelf, the collection glows purple and the final Boss Rush opens. The arena, Veytharion's Sepulcher, reportedly has Pack-a-Punch, an Arsenal, a crafting table and a Wunderfizz, but no GobbleGum machine. Enter with your weapons ready and a stock of Field Upgrades.
The Boss Rush has five encounters:
Z-Rex, returning from Shattered Veil.
The Guardian from Citadelle des Morts.
Ol' Tessie Demolition Derby, essentially a survival round.
Caltheris the Needle, the Astra Malorum boss.
The Warden, a modified version of the Rex Infernus final boss.
After each victory you get a one-minute break before the next fight, enough to refill ammo and use the arena facilities. In co-op, make sure every squad member has personally registered the Warden Toy before you start the finale.
Super Easter Egg rewards
Beating the Boss Rush reportedly unlocks permanent rewards: the Warden Operator, a special Cursed Mode reward called Mr. Peeks Mayhem and a Dark Aether skin for the character you finished the finale with. You also get the final story sequence of the Black Ops 7 Zombies storyline.
The biggest gameplay reward is Mr. Peeks Mayhem. In Cursed Mode it reportedly grants Tier III-style benefits without equipping the usual Relics: Pack-a-Punch IV, Ultra weapon rarity, Golden Armor, cheaper Pack-a-Punch upgrades, better Mystery Box odds and more frequent Mr. Peeks appearances with better rewards. Wunderfizz also hands out Eternal Perks, though the perk is random and costs more than a normal purchase.
The Dark Aether skin is tied to the hero you used, and according to the same reports each of the eight crew characters has one. For the full set you have to repeat the finale with different heroes.
How to prepare and plan your runs
The quest is long, and most of the time goes into repeated rounds rather than hard fights. To take some of the grind off your plate, you can cover part of it in advance: leveling and weapon leveling save hours, and prestige covers another long goal while you work through the maps.
While running between maps, it is convenient to chase Zombies camos at the same time: Arachnida Zombie Camo, Bioluminescent Camo, Borealis Camo and Serpentinite Zombie Camo. Repeat toy runs leave you the time for it.
A practical order: Totenreich and Kowakujo first as the shortest, then Paradox Junction and Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum on its own long evening, and Rex Infernus with the finale last. That way you arrive at the Boss Rush with five toys already registered and the maps well practiced.
