Delta Force Meltdown Recap: AZ3 Plant, N-Two and New Weapons
Meltdown at a Glance
Season Meltdown went live on June 30, 2026 on PC and mobile and ended on September 7. Season 11 "Reorientation" has been running since September 8, so this is a look back at a finished season. Data is current as of 17.10.2026.
The theme is a nuclear disaster. Operations got the AZ3 Nuclear Power Plant map with radiation and the H1000 boss, while Warfare got the Coliseum map and the CSV-35 tiltrotor. The season also brought the N-Two operator, the RM277 assault rifle, the SVCH marksman rifle and a whole line of new ammo.
Below is what the update contained and how to put it to use if you are coming back and want to see what the season changed: new mechanics, an operator, weapons and ammo.
AZ3 Nuclear Power Plant and How Radiation Works
AZ3 Nuclear Power Plant is a new Operations map with two difficulties. Easy unlocks at Operations Level 9 and Normal at level 14. Entering Normal costs 112,500 Tekniq Alloy, so walking in without a plan is expensive.

Radiation builds up in contaminated zones and when you open radiation containers. The longer you stay in a dirty zone, the harder the run gets, so plan your route ahead: where you pick up exposure and where you shed it.
Easy is the place to learn where the contaminated zones are and how fast radiation accumulates.
Normal needs a Tekniq Alloy reserve for entry and careful handling of containers.
Containers are best opened when a path back to a clean area is close.
Start on Easy and move to Normal after a couple of calm runs. The entry fee only pays off when you extract with loot instead of dying in the reactor hall.
Decontamination Chamber and the H1000 Boss
The Black Site counter to radiation is the new Decontamination Chamber. It has three levels, and each one raises radiation tolerance and speeds up natural decay.
Level 1 (Operations Lv. 9): tolerance goes from Weak to Normal, and decay starts at 10 seconds instead of 15.
Level 2 (Operations Lv. 14): Normal to Stronger, with decay speed up by 20%.
Level 3 (Operations Lv. 27): Strong to Very Strong, decay starts at 5 seconds and runs 50% faster.
If you plan to visit AZ3 often, upgrade the chamber before chasing high-penetration ammo: radiation tolerance keeps you alive in contaminated zones, while penetration only matters in a fight.
H1000 (Neural Device Agent-H1000) is the new Warlord in the AZ3 core facilities. It carries Neural Devices, is connected to Skynet and is very agile: the developers describe it as fast, lethal and unpredictable. According to player reports, it is especially hard to handle alone, so bring a squad and do not chase it while you are heavily irradiated.
N-Two: The Engineer With a Frost Kit
N-Two (Gabriel Mercier) is the new Engineer operator. His whole kit is built on cold and control, which fits the season's theme.

Frost Launcher is a temporary weapon with up to six cryogenic grenades, and its fire rate rises during continuous fire.
Cryo-Flask creates a low-temperature zone, freezes closed doors and makes enemies cough.
Homing Stun Grenade tracks its target automatically, disrupts vision and deals damage.
The passive depends on the mode. In Operations, Frostbite slows enemies and lowers their fracture resistance. In Warfare, Permafrost slows targets and worsens vehicle handling.
The kit fits chokepoints and locked doors: the Cryo-Flask blocks a route, and the homing grenade reaches an enemy who has slipped out of direct sight.
Warfare: Coliseum and the CSV-35 Tiltrotor
Coliseum is a 64-player Warfare map built around a Haavk rocket. If another missile intercepts the rocket, debris falls on the streets of Claudia. If not, the rocket crashes into the Coliseum and both sides start a final showdown. On PC, vegetation and objects can ignite.

The outcome of the rocket event decides where the final fight takes place, so plan your approach around it.
The CSV-35 is a tiltrotor that combines helicopter-style vertical takeoff with fixed-wing speed. It carries customizable weapons for self-defense. At launch it was available only on Fault and Threshold in Attack and Defend and Victory Unite modes, so you could not count on it on every map.
Weapons and Ammo of the Season
Two guns were added: the RM277 assault rifle chambered in 6.8x51mm and the SVCH marksman rifle in 7.62x54R. The RM277 is an assault rifle for mid-range fights, while the SVCH is built for longer distances.
The new ammo is best read by effect. The table below collects the essentials.
Ammo | Penetration | Notable effect |
|---|---|---|
5.8x42mm DVC12+P | Level 5 | Slows the target and makes it flinch |
5.8x42mm DBP10+P | Level 4 | Slows the target, makes it flinch, less recoil for the shooter |
9x19mm CT | Level 0 | Limb damage x1.75, random scope spread, worse recoil control |
.45 ACP CT | Level 0 | Limb damage x1.6, same drawbacks |
6.8x51mm PLY-I / II / III | Levels 3 / 4 / 5 | Control buff during sustained fire |
9x39mm PAB-7 | Level 3 | The hit body part takes more damage for 3 seconds |
9x39mm PAB-9 | Level 4 | Same effect, up to +60% on a single body part |
Penetration 4 or 5 matters against armor, while CT rounds only make sense when you aim at legs and arms. PLY rounds match the RM277 caliber, and their control buff during sustained fire helps players who are still getting used to its recoil.
The Rainbow Six Siege Crossover and Cosmetics
From July 10 to August 23, Delta Force x Rainbow Six Siege ran in the game. Operators were paired up: Nox with Vigil, Sineva with Montagne, Stinger with Doc. For free, players could choose two of three operator bundles through event missions, plus a Black Ice MP5 appearance and a choice of Black Ice weapon bundles. The event is over, so no new rewards are being handed out.
The season also announced its own cosmetics: the Astromancy AKM collection, the Elegy Legendary melee weapon and the Law of Time Deluxe Charm.
Where to Start After the Season Change
If you came into Delta Force during season 11 or are planning a return, Meltdown content is now part of the core game: you can study the maps, mechanics and ammo in any order, while the crossover rewards are gone.
To get familiar with the radiation mechanic, a simple order works: learn AZ3 on Easy, upgrade the Decontamination Chamber, try N-Two at tight passages. If you prefer classic Operations maps, compare the feel with Zero Dam, Space City and Layali Grove. Players chasing a rating will also want to look at Rank in the new season.
