What matters about the season right now

Season 11, Reorientation, launched on September 8, 2026 at 02:00 UTC on PC and mobile and runs through November 9. This article reflects the state of the game on October 17, 2026: the season is about halfway done, several events have closed, and the headline mode of the second half, Polaris Patrol, opened just yesterday.

For Operations players the big items are the expanded Layali Grove (Layali Grove 2.0) with connected rivers and Jet Skis, a new Fishing system, and the new Operator Rover. Warfare gets The Mog map. Per the season overview, your stash, weapons and gear carry over; only last season's seasonal missions and seasonal Safe Box access reset.

Below is what actually changes your runs and what you can safely skip.

Layali Grove 2.0: rivers, Jet Skis and fishing

The map gained three areas: Serenity Bay, North Slope Caves and the Haavk Underground Dock. Rivers now connect different parts of the map, so squads can rotate by water. Four Jet Skis spawn, with two more when the Bounty: Wave Breaker task is not active.

Wave Breaker asks you to steal an Assault Boat and escort it to Reis. Before you leave the water, agree with your squad on cover and the next stop: an open shore after a fast crossing is an easy place to get caught.

Fishing unlocks at Operations Level 17, which ties into your Operations Level. You can fish only on Easy difficulty, on three maps: Zero Dam, Layali Grove and AZ3. The intro quest comes from the NPC Joe Reed. Fishing suits an unhurried run with friends: the catch will not replace loot for crafting and upgrades, but but it adds a separate progression line.

New modes: Polaris Patrol and duels

Polaris Patrol opened on October 16. You can play as Security Director Desmoulins or back her up as an Adjutant. The Desmoulins file unlocks at Operations Level 33, and entering as her costs one Security Director's Work Badge: 250,000 Tekniq Alloy each.

According to the season overview, you need to finish three of the five mission branches for the file, while an Adjutant enters without a badge. That makes the Adjutant role the cheapest way to try the mode. If you plan several runs as Desmoulins, build up your Tekniq Alloy early, since every attempt eats into the reserve.

If several squadmates want to play Desmoulins, you need a badge per attempt, and the Tekniq Alloy total grows fast. Adjutant lets you learn the mechanics at no cost and see Desmoulins from the inside before you save up for your own run.

The Operations 1v1 duel mode was announced for after the Mid-Season Update, with no date in the patch notes. Player reports place its arrival around October 9. The one-on-one format suits comparing builds and practicing aim.

Rover and Operator balance

Rover (Rowan Walsh, per the season overview) is a Support Operator who comes with a military dog named Clover. The dog tracks enemies, attacks them and marks them. His kit includes the Dart Rifle, Irritant smoke, and Guard Drive in Operations or Prey Drive in Warfare. Per the season overview, he sits on the free Season Pass track.

Several other Operators were tuned too. The most notable changes are in the table.

Operator

Change

Hackclaw

Signal Decoder cooldown in Operations down from 120 to 90 seconds

Toxik

Adreno-Boost range up from 13 to 20 meters in all modes

Stinger

Hive-Tech Pistol starts with three charges instead of one, Pain Relief lasts 25 seconds instead of 20

Sniper rifles in Operations now spread shots heavily when you move while aiming down sights. If you play sniper, set up your position and shoot stationary.

Weapons and ammo

The new arrivals are the MDR assault rifle in 7.62x51mm and the Thompson SMG in .45. Both came with firearm missions, which ended on October 8 along with the other events in that window.

Per the update description, some existing guns got new kits: the M700 gained burst and automatic firing options, for example, and the 93R got a kit that enables automatic fire. A permanent .45 ACP Super round was added too, plus several seasonal 4.6x30mm and 12 Gauge DART rounds. Pick ammo for the map and the range you fight at most.

Warfare: The Mog and Victory Unite

Per the season overview, Warfare gets The Mog, an urban map inspired by Black Hawk Down. Fights happen in the streets and around buildings, and objectives include a push cart that teams shove in either direction. A UH-60 Black Hawk provides fire support, and the new amphibious LSV drives on land and water.

Victory Unite, with its Commander election, reportedly unlocks permanently at Colonel. If that is your goal, check how to earn the required rank. The Commander approves most vehicle deployments, so teamwork matters more than personal kills in these matches.

If you missed the launch, that is no reason to skip the map: street fighting calls for different weapons than open maps. Bring something solid at mid and close range and stay near your team, since lone players get caught in crossfire fast.

The Battle of The Mog event with weapon EXP ended back on September 17.

Season Pass, events and reset

The Season Pass runs from September 8 to November 9. Among the cosmetics, per the pass description, the Netrunner look for Hackclaw stands out. Rover himself, as noted above, sits on the free track.

Many events began on September 8 but closed before the season did. The sign-in rewards ran until September 17, while the Layali Grove 2.0 event, Rover trials and firearm missions ended on October 8. The anniversary rewards and the main event, per the season overview, stay until November 9.

At rollover, Season 10's seasonal missions and seasonal Safe Box access expired. Your stash, weapons and Tekniq Alloy stayed. The new mission line is shorter, with lower star requirements and earlier side missions.

Where to start in the remaining weeks

About three weeks remain until November 9, so the priorities look like this:

  • Polaris Patrol. The mode opened yesterday, so queues and routines are still forming. Below Level 33 the Desmoulins file is locked, but Adjutant plays without a badge.

  • Tekniq Alloy reserve. A badge costs 250,000, and a few runs drain the pool quickly.

  • Seasonal missions. Late goals need dedicated runs, so leaving them for the last week is risky.

  • Fishing. One trip to Zero Dam is enough to unlock the mechanic and see whether you like it.

If you are catching up, start with the events that are still running, since their rewards disappear in November. The new mission line's lower star requirements should take fewer runs than last season's did.

If you play Space City, the season overview says new switches there open helicopter extraction. That changes the usual exit routes, so make your first attempt without expensive gear.
