Raid bosses without the raids, now permanent

Pantheon 2.0 lets a fireteam fight bosses from older raids without running the raids themselves. It arrived on June 9, 2026 in Update 9.7.0 alongside Monument of Triumph. The first Pantheon was a limited-time event, while this version stays in the game and is available any time.

Inside are three activities, seven bosses, three difficulty levels, a reward pool of its own and a dedicated set of Triumphs that leads to the Godsbane title.

What matters before your first run: Adventure is a forgiving mode for learning, Standard gives weekly rewards, and Custom lets you switch on optional modifiers called Feats for better loot. Also pick up the quest from the Drifter, covered below.

Three activities and seven bosses

The first two activities, The Pantheon: Calus Resplendent and The Pantheon: Morgeth Surpassing, opened on June 9. The full run, The Pantheon: Insurrection Prime Revolutionary, unlocked on June 13 at 10 AM PT. Weekly boss rotators started on June 16.

Bosses in each activity always come in the same order. The full Gauntlet strings every fight together and ends with Insurrection Prime.

Difficulties and Feats

There are three difficulties, so you can match the challenge to your squad, from relaxed learning to a punishing test.

Three Pantheon bosses, each with its own Feats conditions
  • Adventure. The Power cap is lifted, revives are unlimited and some mechanics are more forgiving. It is the place to learn encounters and teach newcomers. Rewards are modest.

  • Standard. The default mode with no Feats. Each encounter gives a weekly Tier 5 drop, which makes it the route for regular clears and for anyone still on Power leveling.

  • Custom. This is where Feats are switched on, optional modifiers that make a fight harder. The tougher the challenge, the higher your reward grade.

Each Feat adds this much to the reward grade:

  • Token Limit: +1

  • Shocktroopers: +2

  • Challenges: +3

  • Cutthroat Combatants: +4

The grade runs from 0 to 5. The higher it is, the more Tier 4 and Tier 5 items an encounter drops, and the top grade can give up to three Tier 5 items. You can take one very hard Feat or stack several easy ones.

If you have no time to learn the mechanics or find a team, check the Pantheon services below. The raids themselves can be ordered in the Raids bundle.

The quest and where to start

Before launching, pick up the Weapons of the Pantheon quest from the Drifter in the Tower. Its objectives are the seven bosses: Argos, Galhran, Calus, Warpriest, Consecrated Mind, Morgeth and Insurrection Prime. Without it, according to player reports, you may miss weapon rewards tied to the quest, so grab it right away.

A team new to the mode should go from easy to hard. Start with Calus Resplendent, three familiar fights in one run. Morgeth Surpassing comes next, where Warpriest, Consecrated Mind and Morgeth demand tidy movement and clear roles.

Leave Insurrection Prime for last. It closes the full Gauntlet and several Triumphs depend on it. Once everyone covers their role on the earlier bosses, move on to the full run.

What to bring

Most Pantheon 2.0 bosses offer long damage windows, big crit spots or shields that need accurate shots. That is why snipers and Linear Fusion Rifles are comfortable across the whole run.

Many players use Queenbreaker with its catalyst as an all-purpose heavy, since it needs no swapping between bosses. If the Exotic does not suit you, a good Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle with enough ammo and boss damage perks works too.

  • Primary: whatever clears small enemies between mechanics.

  • Special: a PvE sniper with perks like Triple Tap, Rewind Rounds or Fourth Time's the Charm. It handles weak points and distant shield panels.

  • Heavy: Queenbreaker or a Linear Fusion Rifle.

  • Backup: Sleeper Simulant or Whisper of the Worm for shields and short damage checks.

Divinity is often recommended for mobile bosses, but skip it against Insurrection Prime: hotfix 9.7.0.3 on July 7 removed the ability to damage that boss with it outside the normal damage phase.

For Supers, favor burst damage or team support. Players often pick Celestial Nighthawk for Hunters, Twilight Arsenal for Titans and Well of Radiance for Warlocks. Needlestorm and Thundercrash help when the boss position allows. Keep an add-clear weapon such as an SMG or auto rifle handy too: Calus brings skulls, and waves of enemies in other fights pull attention from mechanics.

Pantheon 2.0 rewards

The mode has its own loot pool. Players can earn a new armor set for each class, reprised raid weapons, holofoil variants, ornaments for original raid armor, emblems and exotic cosmetics.

The main set is called Pantheos Resplendent and exists for Titan, Hunter and Warlock. It has two set bonuses: Well Prepared for two pieces and Down the Line for four.

All reprised weapons roll the Elliptical Orbit origin trait. Alone as a God and Bane of Sorrow are named among the mode's exclusive weapons. Holofoil versions are a separate target for collectors and long-term farmers.

After a run with several bosses, the final chest works as a Spoils of Conquest vendor where you can reroll items you have already earned.

Godsbane: the title and Triumphs

The prestige goal is the Godsbane title. It requires 11 of 12 Pantheon Triumphs. They include victories in the three activities (Resplendent Victory, Surpassing Victory, Revolutionary Victory), Feats of Revolution (Insurrection Prime Revolutionary with at least two Feats) and Total Revolution, a full Gauntlet with every Feat on.

That is far more demanding than a plain clear: you will run the full Gauntlet in Custom and collect the boss victories. Do not mix it up with Godslayer from the original 2024 Pantheon.

With no team or little time, a full-run service can speed up the road to Godsbane.

Is it worth it and how to farm

Pantheon 2.0 is a chance to fight iconic Destiny 2 bosses without clearing whole raids. For anyone who missed the old raids, it is a convenient showcase of those fights.

Learn the fights in Adventure first, then move to Standard for regular drops. Once the team knows the mechanics, enable Feats in Custom: the reward grade climbs, and so does the chance at Tier 5 items. If you only care about grinding Power, the mode has less to offer, so treat it as a place to replay great fights and fill your collection.
