Genshin Impact Electroculus Routes: Six Inazuma Islands
Inazuma contains 181 Electroculi. Collecting them involves more than following the coastline: some items hang high above the ground, some are inside caves and others depend on local mechanisms or quest-related access.
Clear islands sequentially, separating high ground, shoreline and underground sections within each one. Avoid crossing the sea for a single new marker while a nearby group remains unfinished. Repeated island changes create unnecessary travel and make the collection harder to track.
This guide offers regional routes and concrete examples of reaching awkward locations. It is a planning guide for the six main islands rather than a numbered coordinate catalogue for all 181 Electroculi. Adapt the order to your waypoints and quest progress.
Prepare before starting a circuit
Select the Electroculus filter on the Teyvat Interactive Map and focus on one island. Record pickups immediately, keeping inaccessible locations on a separate return list with a reason: a missing cave entrance, an inactive branch or a quest tool you have not obtained.
Use a party comfortable for exploration and small encounters. Plan arrival points before crossing water. Check stamina before long glides: losing altitude at the end of a route costs more time than a short preparation stop.
Repeated jumps do not solve every obstacle. When you encounter a barrier, inspect local mechanisms and the quest log. If access is clearly locked, continue the circuit and return after meeting its specific condition.
Narukami: separate high ground from coastal routes
Check the Grand Narukami Shrine area and neighbouring slopes before descending towards lower roads. Make a separate pass through the shoreline and small islands. An elevated starting point can reach a high collectible much more conveniently than climbing back up after each descent.
One useful example requires guiding three nearby Seelie to their courts. This activates access to an Electrogranum and the upward route towards the collectible. Gliding from the Grand Narukami Shrine is an alternative approach to this particular location. Compare both options with your current position before choosing.
Treat Inazuma City and the outlying small islands as a separate section. Completing a walk along the main slopes does not establish that every shoreline around the city has been inspected.

Starting elevation matters for an airborne Electroculus: compare the shrine approach with the local Electrogranum.
Kannazuka: keep outer cliffs and interior routes separate
The northern shore and Tatarasuna provide useful staging areas. Clear accessible outer locations first, then move to the interior slopes and structures. If an area's conditions obstruct exploration, address its local quest progression before beginning a comprehensive sweep.
Check waterside ledges around cliffs. When a collectible is behind a rock wall, an approach along a path can be simpler than a direct climb. Record the entrance or required elevation whenever you postpone an item.
Yashiori: group markers by side of the ravine
Use major terrain breaks as route boundaries on Yashiori. Avoid crossing Musoujin Gorge after every new marker. Finish a convenient group on one side before moving to the other.
Inspect coastal slopes and small waterside areas separately. For an item beneath an overhang, check the base of the cliff as well as its top. Account for local hazards and unfinished quests when deciding whether to begin a longer exploration trip.
Watatsumi: descend through the ledges
A gradual descent from the upper parts of Watatsumi towards its lower levels creates an easy-to-track route. Use Sangonomiya as a landmark, but do not restrict the search to the centre. Coastal caves and outer islets deserve their own inspection.
When an item appears to coincide with your map position, do not immediately jump into the water. Check ledges above you and passages below first. Losing height can move you farther from the target even when the horizontal distance barely changes.
Seirai: connect elevated locations in one pass
Divide Seirai into lower areas and the elevated routes around Amakumo Peak. Approach the upper section once its required paths are accessible. You can then connect several locations instead of restarting the climb for each pickup.
Where a Phase Gate is available, inspect whether its travel path passes the elevation you need. Some suspended collectibles require leaving a traversal path at the right moment. Arriving at the map icon does not prove that the item sits on the ground.

An airborne Seirai location: match the item’s elevation to an available traversal method.
Tsurumi: account for quest tools and underground walls
On Tsurumi, keep separate surface targets and Shirikoro Peak cave targets. A closed or unusual wall may require a quest-related interaction. Circling the outside of the entire rock formation cannot replace the necessary tool.
A concrete example is the Electroculus behind an owl-marked wall underneath Shirikoro Peak. The Peculiar Pinion is used for this location. Inspect the image on the underground wall rather than searching for an entrance on the surface directly above it.
Review the first exploration pass
Clue | Possible cause | Next action |
|---|---|---|
A star appears but no item is visible | Different elevation | Check above, lower ledges and caves |
A barrier blocks the path | An access condition remains unmet | Inspect the mechanism and local quests |
An owl image is present | A special interaction is required | Check the Peculiar Pinion at the appropriate wall |
Only a few items remain | Gaps in previous records | Review return visits and use a Resonance Stone |
Find the remaining Electroculi
The Electroculus Resonance Stone narrows the search in Inazuma. Obtain and learn its instructions, then craft the item. A successful use marks a search area; elevation and access through local obstacles still need to be established manually.
The cooldown after a successful search is two minutes. Once it ends, the stone can select another target if an additional eligible Oculus remains. Keep your note about the previous item. Otherwise, an awkward missing location may disappear from your plan while remaining uncollected in the world.
Frequently asked questions
How many Electroculi are in Inazuma?
There are 181. Check all six main islands and their associated smaller sections.
Is following the shoreline enough?
No. High ground, caves and locations behind mechanisms or quest-controlled access are also important.
How do I get behind an owl wall on Tsurumi?
The appropriate underground wall beneath Shirikoro Peak uses the Peculiar Pinion. Check your local quest progress and the wall image.
Does the Resonance Stone unlock barriers?
No. It helps identify a search area but does not replace mechanisms, quest tools or access conditions.
