Rik Reverb Mythic Boss Guide – Liberation of Undermine
Introduction
Welcome to the Mythic Rik Reverb guide for the Liberation of Undermine raid. This walkthrough covers the additional mechanics introduced in Mythic difficulty and the ideal strategy for handling Rik Reverb at this level.
Fight Style: Primarily single-target with additional attention to barrels and positioning.
Recommended Setup: 2 Tanks / 4 Healers / 14 DPS
Enrage Timer: Very strict—reaching the 3rd intermission is usually lethal.
Time Heroism/Lust: Use on pull for maximum efficiency.
Mechanics Overview
Feedback Nullifier
Amplifiers now spawn protected by a barrier. You must break it to drain energy. Two players marked with Faulty Zap (blue circles) must collide within 8 yards of the Amplifier to trigger a Static Jolt. This burst removes the barrier and damages the raid.
Resonant Echoes
When struck by an Echo while already affected by the Echo debuff, players become Entranced. This mind-control must be broken by burning down the afflicted player.
Sound Cannon
This beam mechanic must be group-soaked. Anyone in the beam who falls below 75% HP will be Entranced and must be freed by DPS.
Mythic Strategy Breakdown
The encounter in Mythic introduces new responsibilities and tighter tuning:
1. Amplifier Shields & Faulty Zap Coordination
Each Amplifier spawns with a protective shield, preventing energy drain until it's removed. Two players with the Faulty Zap debuff need to collide while near the shielded Amplifier to disable the barrier. This needs to be coordinated and fast, or else you'll fall behind and risk raid damage.
Positioning tip: Ranged players bait Amplifier spawns on the "X" marker. Tanks and melee should begin at "Skull." Move from marker to marker as Amplifiers appear to ensure efficient handling.
2. Sound Cannon Beam Soaking
The targeted player requires assistance soaking the beam. The raid needs to split the damage. If anyone within the beam drops below 75% HP, they will become Entranced and must be freed quickly.
Tactical note: Shift the beam's path toward barrels if any are active. This ensures most players are already in the right place to help soak.
3. Echo Circle Dodge Check
Echo circles shoot out from Amplifiers and are more frequent during Echoing Chant. If hit by two within 6 seconds, the player becomes Entranced. This increases the importance of dodging and spatial awareness. The same rule applies during intermission.
Key reminder: Failure to destroy barrels will likely result in raid deaths on Mythic.

Breaking Amplifier Shields is Priority One:
Players will consistently receive Faulty Zap, but the time window is short. Delays in positioning lead to faded debuffs and unbroken shields, which cascade into overhealing and late drains. -
Clean Execution:
If Amplifiers aren't handled fast enough, the energy fills too quickly and forces healers into an unsustainable situation. -
Minimize Entrancement:
The fight becomes much harder if too many players become Entranced at once. Precision movement and discipline during dodging phases are crucial.
