Turbulent Timeways is a recurring Timewalking bonus meta-event offering enhanced rewards, experience buffs, and special event prizes. This guide explains all you need to know about the Timewalking event.

What is Turbulent Timeways?
Turbulent Timeways is a periodic Timewalking meta-event spanning several weekly Timewalking events. While active, each weekly Timewalking event occurs one after the other without interruption until the event ends.
Experience Buffs and Stacking
During Turbulent Timeways, players receive a stacking experience buff by completing consecutive Timewalking dungeons. After 4 dungeons, the buff transforms into a larger experience boost. Earning this buff across multiple weeks unlocks achievements and mounts.

How the Turbulent Timeways Event Works
Event Structure
Turbulent Timeways runs across multiple consecutive weeks with a weekly Timewalking event active each week. The Timewalking dungeons themselves remain unchanged, but the event adds bonus buffs and rewards.
Knowledge of Timeways Buff
Completing a Timewalking dungeon grants the Knowledge of Timeways buff, which lasts two hours and boosts experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests. This buff persists through death.
Stacking Buffs
Completing consecutive dungeons adds stacks to the buff, increasing its power and refreshing its duration.
Mastery of Timeways Buff
At 4 stacks, the buff upgrades to Mastery of Timeways, granting a 3-hour 30% experience increase. The buff duration refreshes with each dungeon completion and also persists through death.
Achievements and Mounts
Earning Mastery of Timeways for five weeks during the event awards an achievement and a new mount. The achievement credit is account-wide and does not require earning the buff on the same character every week.
Skipping Weeks
The Mastery of Timeways buff does not need to be earned on consecutive weeks. You can skip weeks, but the buff must be earned on 5 different weeks during the event.
Checking Achievement Progress
The achievement can be found under World Events and shows the count of weeks earned.

The Knowledge of Timeways and Mastery of Timeways experience buffs for leveling players.
Heroic item level gear from the max-level Timewalking weekly quest, Cache of Nerubian Treasures.
The Master of the Turbulent Timeways achievement, exclusive to this event.
A unique event mount.

Awarded for gaining Mastery of Timeways in 5 weeks during Turbulent Timeways III.
Chrono Corsair
Type: Flying
This Infinite Dragonflight pirate rides the timeways, always hunting for the perfect heist crew.
Past Rewards
Although past Master of the Turbulent Timeways achievements can no longer be earned, their unique mounts are available for purchase from Timewalking vendors when the event returns. Missing the event or the buff won’t prevent you from eventually obtaining these mounts, which cost 5000 Timewarped Badges each.
Timely Buzzbee
Type: Flying
Originally earned from Master of the Turbulent Timeways II, now sold by Timewalking vendors for 5000 badges. These buzzing Buzzbees collect stray sands of time and return them safely to the Timeways.
Sandy Shalewing
Type: Flying
Originally from the first Master of the Turbulent Timeways, now available from Timewalking vendors for 5000 badges. Its wings mimic sand flowing through an hourglass, mesmerizing to watch for hours.
