League of Legends Redeem Codes: Status and Redemption

As of October 22, 2026, no confirmed public codes suitable for recommending to every reader were found in the official Riot and League of Legends materials checked. There is therefore no Active Codes table filled with unverified strings. This is a finding from public sources, not a claim that individual or regional offers cannot exist.

This guide covers ordinary PC League of Legends. A functioning redemption page does not validate a code copied from a list. A recommendation needs an organizer's announcement, a defined reward, eligibility rules and a current redemption window. A list updated today remains unverified if those details are missing.

If you already received a code from Riot, an official partner or a purchase, identify its type and use the appropriate route below. Publishing somebody else's single-use code does not turn it into a reusable public promotion.

Identify the code before redeeming it

A content code can unlock a specified skin, icon or another named item. A cash code adds premium currency. A string labeled LoL is not automatically an RP reward, and Blue Essence should not be expected unless the offer explicitly includes it.

Icons, emotes, chromas and capsules appear in official offers, but they are not a standard bundle awarded by every code. The individual campaign defines the contents. When an offer includes a skin, separately check whether the champion is required and whether the bundle includes it.

How to redeem a content code

The official web destination is https://shop.riotgames.com/redeem . Open the address directly, enter the code exactly as received and follow the confirmation. If you are not signed in, you will be prompted to authenticate. Check the receiving account and displayed reward before the final confirmation.

The League client provides another route: Store > Account > Redeem Codes. Enter the code and submit it. This is the League store, rather than the game-launch screen in Riot Client.

A code for a particular item should not be treated as convertible RP. Also check ownership before confirming: redeeming content you already own can consume the code without providing a duplicate or compensation.

Redemption flow: verify the source, identify the code, use the official route, check the recipient and allow for delivery.

Gift cards: check the region before entering the PIN

A physical card and a digital email can both contain a single-use cash code. Keep the physical card and receipt, or the purchase email and payment confirmation for a digital product. Choose a retailer actually authorized by Riot or the campaign organizer to distribute that offer.

Before paying, compare the card's supported region with your account server. Cards for NA, EUW, EUNE and other regions are not covered by a universal interchangeability rule. For example, Riot's gift card guidance places US and Canadian cards on NA, and Australian and New Zealand cards on OCE. Do not extend that example to every product and country. Check the currency printed on the card as well.

For a prepaid RP card, use the documented League payment route: Store > Purchase RP > Prepaid Cards, then enter the PIN without spaces and select Submit. Payment-method labels may vary by region. Riot's support pages conflict here: the general guide describes cash codes on the new website, while League's Codes FAQ retains a client-only instruction for prepaid cards. For that card type, follow the packaging and in-client payment route; clarify mismatched conditions with Support before buying.

If the web page offers a game selector for a supported cash code, choose League of Legends and review the credited amount. Do not confirm a different game just to test it. One cash code cannot be split across games or accounts. Ordinary Riot cash codes do not expire, but that rule must not be extended to promotional content codes.

Why a code fails

Read the error before trying again. Cycling through random strings can create an attempt-limit problem even when the next code is genuinely yours.

Also verify the game, receiving account and participation requirements. A reward for another Riot product does not become a League reward because the account is shared. Regional and partner offers can impose conditions that cannot be inferred from the code's appearance.

Five checks before retrying: deadline, region, single-use status, spelling, and the game with its redemption route.

If redemption succeeded but the reward is missing, check the correct account and the relevant collection or loot section. Refreshing the client session can help check its display, but restarting is not a mandatory redemption step and cannot repair an expired code. Riot allows up to 24 hours for delivery. After that, contact Support with the error, Riot ID, code and purchase evidence where applicable. Send the full code only through a private official support ticket.

Where to find genuine offers

Start with League news, Riot Support and LoL Esports announcements. For a partner, establish the Riot connection first, then read that campaign's own rules. Distinguish the deadline to obtain an offer from the deadline to redeem an issued code.

A current example of a different format is Worlds Unlocked 2026, announced on October 7: digital items are tied to the purchased bundle and its enclosed Opera GX QR route. This is not a free public code. Check the official store for stock and delivery conditions, and the product description for the bundle's contents.

Worlds 2026 Pick'Ems is another example. On the check date, the official schedule lists Swiss predictions closing before the first match on October 23. Participation and rewards have separate rules with regional exclusions. Predictions, purchases and participation rewards should not be recast as a list of redeemable strings. Old partner posts, including Prime offers, do not establish a current giveaway without a new announcement.

Protect your account when checking an offer

An RP generator is not a substitute for a Riot promotion. Ordinary redemption does not require a browser extension, downloadable code tool or survey collecting your League password. Do not send a giveaway organizer your password or authentication codes.
