Lend-Lease - Part 1: five stops on Woods and Shoreline - classic route

Lend-Lease - Part 1 is Skier’s technical-component retrieval task on Woods and Shoreline. It requires three motor controllers and two single-axis fibre optic gyroscopes, with a separate handover entry for each item. This guide covers all five stops on the classic route: two on Woods and three on Shoreline.

The route follows the classic objective set shown on the in-game Lend lease - Part 1 card. Accept the assignment from Skier first. Woods and Shoreline are separate maps: plan them as separate raids, finishing a successful collection attempt by extracting and handing over the components.

Prepare a west wing 216 key for the cabinet and an east wing 306 key for the balcony stop on Shoreline. List the remaining components before deploying; hand over what you obtain after a successful extraction so the next attempt can focus on unfinished objectives.

List components before deploying

The task card assigns the first controller to Woods and the second and third to Shoreline. The first gyroscope is on Woods and the second on Shoreline. Five collection entries and five handover entries form the complete list: merely visiting a room does not replace picking up its component.

Historical stop

Features that help identify it

Woods: SUV at a checkpoint

Dark vehicle, open front door and the area between the front seats

Woods: cyan pickup at the lumber camp

Truck bed, open black box and a small pale object

Shoreline: wooden crate

Open crate in wooded terrain with a large ribbed component

Resort: balcony

Cardboard box beyond the balcony door

Resort: cabinet

Tall metal cabinet with a partly open door

After each successful extraction, record obtained and handed-over components separately. This is especially useful across multiple attempts: revisit an already completed location only after checking actual progress, rather than relying on memory of an item you picked up earlier.

Keys: check the wing and number together

Prepare the Health Resort west wing room 216 key and Health Resort east wing room 306 key for this route. The complete names distinguish the west and east wings: matching numbers in separate buildings do not make keys interchangeable.

Historical in-game inspection of a west wing 216 key

The key inspection explicitly names the west wing and room 216. The build number is cropped.

Woods: the controller in the SUV

The classic reference is a dark SUV at a small checkpoint near the lumber camp. A historical image shows an open front door and identifies the area around the centre of the cabin. The nearby booth, fencing and dirt approach help recognition alongside the vehicle's colour.

Open the front door and inspect the front-seat area rather than the boot. The ribbed metal block displays the “Controller #1” pickup label. Obtain it and record the first controller objective; ordinary electronic loot elsewhere is not a substitute for this item.

Woods: the gyroscope in the cyan pickup

The next stop is a cyan pickup beside an industrial building at the lumber camp. Approach its open bed containing the boxes.

The gyroscope is inside the open black box in the truck bed: look for a small pale polygonal object. Aim into the box until the “Gyroscope #1” pickup prompt appears, then obtain it. You do not need to search the pickup’s cab for this objective.

These two Woods stops can be considered together when planning, but combining them at any cost is unnecessary. If conditions worsen after the first stop, the value of the component already obtained should influence whether you continue, rather than disappear behind a wish to finish the map in one trip.

Shoreline: the controller in a wooden crate

On Shoreline, look for an open broken wooden crate in the hollow between rocks: the radio tower’s hill is visible from the shown position. A ribbed metal block sits inside. In the historical 0.14.0.1.28476 frame, the native pickup prompt explicitly identifies it as Controller #2. Aim at the component inside the crate and collect it for the second controller entry.

Start from a large landscape reference, then search for the smaller crate. Do not turn an instruction to follow the left wing and turn left into a universal direction: the result depends on your approach and viewing direction. Use the container's shape and surroundings, and stop to recheck the objective if they do not match.

A similar electronic object found in ordinary loot should not automatically count as the required controller. The interaction name and task progress are the decisive checks. If the corresponding entry did not change, establish the reason before proceeding to the Resort.

Historical build 0.14.0.1.28476: the Controller #2 prompt is visible on the component inside the broken wooden crate.

Resort: the balcony controller

At the Resort, go to east wing door 306, then the balcony box. A metal block inside the cardboard packaging displays the “Controller #3” pickup label. Aim at the block under the folded-back lid rather than only at the box.

After entering, inspect the room and the approach to the balcony door. Use the box as the reference rather than an arbitrary container beside any bed. Check the pickup prompt and objective change separately: opening the room does not mean the component has been obtained.

Resort: the gyroscope in the metal cabinet

In the west wing, find door 216. The gyroscope is in a tall blue metal cabinet: a small pale item is visible through its partly open door with the “Gyroscope #2” pickup label. This is a different stop from the cardboard box on the eastern balcony.

After entering, inspect the cabinet and accessible gap, aiming into the interior. A quick glance at the obstructing door may not reveal a small item. Confirm the correct prompt and task state rather than only that you visited the room.

Plan travel between the wings as a separate section. After one successful stop, you do not have to force the next through a fight you have identified. Compare time remaining, your condition and retreat options with the components still required by your card.

Handover and multiple attempts

These are unique quest items: they enter the special inventory in the Tasks tab and are lost when your character dies, requiring you to find them again. After extracting, you can move them into the out-of-raid quest stash to preserve them through a later death. Do not leave collected components in your in-raid quest inventory before another risky attempt.

To hand over items, open Traders → Skier → Tasks, select Lend-Lease - Part 1 and use Turn in for the available components. After all five handovers, press Complete. Collecting items and receiving rewards are separate steps: item rewards arrive through the trader’s message. Review completed entries before another raid so you do not repeat a finished section.

Task activation and rewards

Accept the task from Skier before looking for components: unique quest items spawn for the player with the corresponding task. Character level, trader standing and previous tasks can restrict availability; they do not replace activating the required task card.

The shown completed card lists 17,500 XP, +0.05 Skier reputation, 3,000 dollars and Armasight N-15. ORSIS T-5000M appears with a lock as a purchase unlock: the rifle is not awarded free alongside the experience. Check the reward tooltip for the required LL; its number is not displayed in this frame.

Frequently asked questions

How many historical stops does this route cover?

Five: two on Woods and three on Shoreline, including two inside the resort. This is the complete classic set of three controllers and two gyroscopes.

How do I avoid confusing the Resort wings?

Use west room 216 for the cabinet and east room 306 for the balcony box. Match the wing as well as the room number in the key’s complete name.

Must everything be obtained in one raid?

Do not add that requirement if it is absent from your card. Record obtained and handed-over components after each extraction and build the next attempt around the objectives that remain.

Why is an item absent from an old location?

Check the active objective, correct location, container and route version. An empty spot proves neither a definite server bug nor that any similar electronic loot will substitute for the component.
