How to Play Jubilee in Marvel Rivals: Abilities, Team-Ups, Rotation
Who Jubilee Is and Who She Suits
Jubilee is a Strategist with 275 HP and a four-star difficulty rating. She joined Marvel Rivals with Season 9 on July 10 and does not play like a typical backline healer. Her main weapon heals allies and damages enemies, so she stays close to the fight at all times.
Her strength comes from three things working together: rapid fire, a ball that follows an ally, and marks that trigger on hits. A mistake in any one of them cuts both healing and damage. A newcomer can handle her, but it is easier to learn one element at a time.
Below you will find her abilities, a working rotation, Team-Ups, balance changes since launch, teammates and cosmetics. Data is current as of 16.10.2026.
Jubilee's Abilities
Nearly the whole kit revolves around the Sparkle Mark. Some abilities place it, and shots from the main weapon trigger it.

Ability | What it does |
|---|---|
Energy Plasmoids (primary fire) | Rapid shots that heal allies and damage enemies. Hits on marks add an extra effect. |
Blooming Ball | A tracking orb that follows its target. It heals nearby allies and hurts enemies. The more hits you land through it, the bigger it grows and the more it heals. |
Dazzling Detonation | A firework burst that blinds enemies, makes them vulnerable and applies a Sparkle Mark. Allies get healed and sped up. |
Sparkle Mark | A mark applied by Dazzling Detonation. Energy Plasmoids hits on marked targets add an extra effect. |
Firework Finale (ultimate) | A firework field that heals allies and damages enemies. Per player reports, expanding it launches enemies upward. |
Player guides also mention Sparking Sprint, a movement ability. Save it for the moments when a diver comes at you rather than spending it on simple map travel.
The Fight Rotation
The order is the same in most fights. Ball first, then marks, and only then resources for yourself.
Attach Blooming Ball to the ally heading for the contested point. Skip flankers who are about to leave your sight.
Shoot enemies near the ball so it grows and heals more.
Hold Dazzling Detonation until the enemy commits or your team needs a speed boost.
Trigger marks with ordinary shots and heal whoever takes the most damage first.
Fire the ultimate once both teams are locked in at the objective.
The classic mistake is playing like a Duelist. Finishing off enemies is fine when allies do not need healing, but your job stays the same. Do not stray from the healing zone any farther than you need to finish a target.
Positioning: mid-range, cover close by, a step off the line of fire. The backline does not suit her, but standing right next to a Vanguard is risky too, because enemy Duelists spot her quickly.
If you want to get used to the mechanics faster, sessions with a trainer help: coaching helps you practice positioning and timings.
Jubilee's Team-Ups
Since Season 9 every hero has two Team-Up loadouts, which you can switch before a match, between rounds and in spawn. The base effect works solo, and the enhanced one kicks in when the partner is on your team.

Vampiric Kin with Blade. Creates a field where allies gain Life Steal. With Blade, the enhanced version adds continuous healing inside the field.
Hellfire Sparks with The Hood. Enhanced Energy Plasmoids become hitscan shots that can crit and heal Jubilee. The Hood keeps the linked Void Magic Mark from clearing, so the mode lasts longer.
The Hood has been playable since Season 9.5 on August 7, so the enhanced Hellfire Sparks is now practical. Players report that Hellfire Sparks is a solid pick even without him.
Balance Changes Since Launch
Less than a day after launch, the July 11 hotfix buffed her. the Firework Finale ultimate cost dropped from 4500 to 4300 energy, the Blooming Ball charge requirement fell from 300 to 250, base healing rose from 30 to 35 per second, and the lifesteal with Blade went from 25% to 30%.
Season 9.5 (August 7) improved the main shot: damage from 10 to 11 and healing from 14 to 15 per hit. Season 10 (September 11) cut ultimate energy generation for all Strategists, with no Jubilee-specific change. The Season 10.5 mid-season patch on October 9 brought no separate changes for her either.
In practice, the ball charges faster than at launch, and every Strategist builds ultimate energy more slowly, so save hers for a decisive fight.
Teammates and Tough Matchups
Jubilee works best in group fights where allies stay inside her healing zone. Look for fighters who stay close and brawl steadily.

Blade and The Hood. Their Team-Ups unlock the enhanced Vampiric Kin and Hellfire Sparks.
The Thing. Holds the point next to her healing zone.
Mister Fantastic. Fights at close range and easily stays within her healing range.
Fast flankers like Spider-Man, Black Cat and Psylocke are uncomfortable for her because they arrive from unexpected angles, and so are hitscan snipers like Hela, Hawkeye and Winter Soldier. These are general guidelines rather than hard counters. Against divers, keep the ball near the main group, and avoid solo duels.
Season 9 Skins and Rewards
Cosmetics arrived alongside the hero on July 10. They include the Midnight Mutant bundle with a vampire look, the Cool Combustion costume, an emoji bundle and the Shogo Bag accessory. The separate Crimson Crown reward went to ranked players who reached Gold or higher by the end of the half-season.
To collect the looks you want without a long grind, try the skins unlock service. In-game cosmetic prices can change, so check them in the store.
Is Jubilee Good for Beginners
The primary attack makes sense from the first minute: aim at an ally to heal, at an enemy to damage. The difficulty lies elsewhere. You track the ball, marks, energy and your chosen Team-Up at once. Four stars of difficulty is above average, so learn her step by step.
A practical plan for the first matches looks like this.
Use only the main shot and the ball, ignoring marks. The goal is to land hits and stay near the group.
Add Dazzling Detonation and use it when the enemy commits, not the moment it is ready.
Bring in marks and the ultimate once the earlier steps feel effortless.
Also check which Team-Up you have equipped. If Blade or The Hood is not on your team, the base effect still works, so swap loadouts for a partner only when they are actually playing with you.
How to Master Her Faster
Jubilee trains well at any rank, but the higher the lobby, the more coordination and Strategist teamwork matter. If ranked mode is still locked, a competitive unlock comes in handy.
For climbing the ladder there is rank boost, and for the top tier there is One Above All. To watch an experienced player in action, order a booster rental.
Side goals are covered by account leveling and achievements.
