How to Get Chieftain, Object 907, and VK 72.01 (K) in WoT
T95/FV4201 Chieftain, Object 907, and VK 72.01 (K) are World of Tanks reward vehicles. Obtaining one starts with checking a specific event rather than earning ordinary research XP: inspect the reward lineup, your eligibility, personal result, and exchange deadline.
All three appear in the November 2026 Maneuvers reward announcement. However, event battles move to Tier XI while the selectable reward vehicles remain Tier X. The Tier X Chieftain reward therefore does not provide eligibility for the announced Tier XI battles.
We cover the two confirmed acquisition routes, expenses, clan preparation, and differences between the three tanks. Rules concern Wargaming's PC version and the separately identified EU launch; another region or future event needs its own check.
What is announced for November 2026?
The EU calendar lists Maneuvers from November 9 to 23, 2026. Battles are 7v7 Encounter in Tier XI vehicles with Fog of War, no Legionnaires, and no Clan Battle Reserves. The battle duration limit is ten minutes. Reward eligibility and battle eligibility are separate lists.
The announced reward shop includes ST-62 Version 2, T95/FV4201 Chieftain, Object 907, VK 72.01 (K), T95E6, and 116-F3. This is a verified lineup for one launch, not a permanent storefront. An ordinary Global Map season does not automatically promise the same vehicles.
The auction is announced for November 26 to December 2. The shop closes on December 7, 2026 at 08:00 UTC; a winning Token must be exchanged before that deadline. Check other opening and closing times in your own region and client rather than copying another server's calendar.
Route one: the Personal Leaderboard
The top 9,000 EU players can exchange Fame Points for one reward vehicle. Its Point price equals the total earned by the player in 9,000th place. This is not a known fixed amount in advance or a reward for reaching an arbitrary battle count.
This route uses personal Fame Points rather than an auction bid in bonds. Having no bid does not mean needing no preparation: you need a clan, playing time, eligible vehicles, and a result sufficient for the required position. Other participants' progress changes the ranking.
Do not spend Points on customization and smaller items before choosing the main reward. Check vehicle eligibility and its actual price first, then calculate what remains. The final shopping days are for exchanges, not for continuing event battles that have already ended.
Route two: the bond auction
If your personal position falls short, the auction is open to players who earned at least 1,000 personal Fame Points in the event. The top 3,000 bids win in the November EU launch. Participant count, winner count, and the amount of a winning bid are different figures.

Official auction-process illustration from the 2025 announcement. Eligibility, Token exchange, and refunds for losing bids are also confirmed for November 2026; its dates and vehicle lineup are provided in the text.
Earn the required eligibility in the event itself. A bond balance alone is insufficient.
Open the Maneuvers Auction section in the Store's Event Rewards and inspect the entry conditions.
Decide how many bonds you are willing to spend on a reward tank instead of other purchases.
Submit the bid before the window closes and wait for the result.
If successful, receive a Maneuvers Token and exchange it for an available vehicle before the shop closes.
An unsuccessful bid is refunded in full automatically. A winning bid exchanges your bonds for a Token; the win notification alone does not finalize your vehicle selection. An unused Token expires when the shop closes.
There is no verified advance Chieftain price of 40,000, 50,000, or 60,000 bonds. A past auction result does not guarantee the next one. Comparing NA or another region without matching the launch and conditions does not establish a reliable cutoff either. Participate with an acceptable budget rather than a promise that a particular bid must win.
Can a clan leader simply give you the tank?
The current Maneuvers description ties vehicle acquisition to personal ranking or the auction. The Clan Leaderboard determines gold for the treasury and a bond multiplier for members; it does not describe commanders freely distributing these six tanks.
A promised allocation from leadership therefore does not replace your personal eligibility and exchange. A separate historical event may have had its own licenses or Workshop, but that system cannot be carried into November's regulations. Find the relevant clause in the actual current rules first.
Preparing the clan and Garage
Start with scheduling. The overall EU window is 17:00-23:00 UTC, within which each clan selects its own two-hour Prime Time. Personal and clan Fame Points are earned during your clan's Prime Time. Battles outside it can provide practice but neither stage progress nor Fame Points.
Discuss your role, backups, and crew readiness with the caller. Super Conqueror, Object 277, EBR 105, and Object 140 are Tier X vehicles, so they are not eligible for the announced Tier XI battles. Select a lineup for the current format and team tactics rather than somebody else's universal meta list.
The November launch provides special rental copies of KR-1, FV4025 Contriver, Object 432U, XM69 Hacker, and Gorilla. Renting requires at least one researched Tier X or XI vehicle. These copies include a crew, Garage slot, crew perks, installed equipment, and some unlocked Upgrades. Their crews do not accumulate XP. An event rental does not permanently award a reward tank.
For your own vehicles, check research, available Upgrades, equipment compatibility, and consumables. On Tier X vehicles with Field Modification, assess both consequences of a Dual Modification; do not apply an old tree to Tier XI and its Upgrades system. Perk count alone does not establish crew readiness. Choose Repairs, Brothers in Arms, and individual perks by role; Sixth Sense is already built into the Commander.
Reserve credits for repairs, shells, and consumables across the entire session. A Personal Leaderboard plan does not require a mandatory 60,000-bond balance. For an auction plan, set a separate budget and do not count a reward you have not yet received as spendable funds.
Fame Points also depend on vehicle status
In Maneuvers, victories advance the clan through stages with increasing Fame Point awards. Defeats and draws do not subtract earned stage progress. However, a vehicle that participated in a defeat or was destroyed in a victory becomes Out of Commission.
Such a vehicle earns no personal Fame Points for its owner and contributes no clan Fame Points. Even one Out of Commission vehicle on the winning team prevents stage progression. Personal Points after a defeat require your side to destroy at least two enemy vehicles; award rates depend on the stage.
Officers can reset progression to Stage 1, restoring vehicles, and receive Repair Parts for individual repairs. Unused parts disappear on the next reset. Report backup readiness promptly and follow the caller's lineup decision instead of using an inactive vehicle simply to record attendance.
Reliable communication and execution make a participant useful but do not replace a Leaderboard position. Practice brief calls about targets, reloading, and retreating. Before joining, ask about recruitment criteria: WN8, win rate, or battle count can be a particular clan's requirements rather than official universal event thresholds.
Comparing the three reward tanks
The following figures come from current Tankopedia cards for their specified base configuration and a 100% crew. They do not represent your equipment, consumables, or other bonuses. Damage is for the ordinary AP or APCR shell, not every ammunition type.
Vehicle | Class | Average single-shot damage | Reload | Top speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
T95/FV4201 Chieftain | Versatile heavy | 440 | 12 s | 40 km/h |
Object 907 | Assault medium | 320 | 6.5 s | 55 km/h |
VK 72.01 (K) | Assault heavy | 750 | 20 s | 33 km/h |
T95/FV4201 Chieftain: positional heavy-tank play
The Chieftain has a well-stabilized gun and comfortable terrain handling. Hiding the hull helps exploit the strong frontal turret protection. The sides and rear are substantially weaker, however; a flank or exposed push changes the engagement.
The Chieftain has 440 average single-shot damage: account for that figure when planning a trade. It should not be presented as invulnerable or the strongest vehicle against every lineup. Weak points, impact angle, and appropriate ammunition still matter. Choose it if you enjoy positional trades and can preserve hull cover, rather than for a promised compulsory place in competitive play.
Object 907: active medium-tank play
The 907 fires frequently and has a higher top speed than the two heavies in the table. That supports considering sector changes and attacking alongside allies. However, 320 single-shot damage calls for planning repeated firing opportunities rather than an unconditional one-for-one trade against a heavy opponent.
Sloped armor can help at a favorable angle but does not replace control over incoming fire. At a ridge, check whether the gun can depress without exposing too much hull. Do not install a stabilizer because it is supposedly mandatory for everyone: compare handling, compatible equipment, and the task your setup must perform.
VK 72.01 (K): a powerful individual trade
This German heavy has a rear-mounted turret and a 150 mm gun. Its 750 average damage makes an effective shot consequential, while the long reload requires protection afterward. Assess whether opponents can advance during that pause.
A building corner can support armor use, but a rear turret does not make every sidescraping angle safe. Hide vulnerable sections and inspect the armor model at the actual angle. Limited speed complicates late flank switches; choose a useful lane earlier while preserving retreat options. This is a legitimate play-style choice rather than automatically the third-most-useful vehicle.
Which should come first?
Begin with Chieftain for positional heavy play, Object 907 for more mobile medium play, or VK 72.01 (K) for large individual trades from cover. These are selection criteria rather than a universal power ranking. Consider existing alternatives, crews, and where you will actually play after the event.
If your clan wants a role in another mode, first check that the vehicle is allowed there. The old Ranked Battles mode ended with version 1.21.1; Chieftain cannot be mandatory for current participation in it. Tournament and Onslaught rules require separate checks, and a Tier X reward does not participate in the announced Tier XI Maneuvers.
Reward rotations and common questions
November 2024 does not establish permanent Chieftain availability: that launch's official lineup contained ST-62 Version 2, 116-F3, Object 907, T95E6, M60, and VK 72.01 (K), without Chieftain. November 2026's announcement returns it in a different lineup. A fixed promise of two or three campaigns per year cannot replace a published calendar.
Can I simply research one or buy it for gold?
Tankopedia identifies these as reward vehicles without ordinary research. The route verified here is the specific Maneuvers reward system through personal Points or an auction Token. Do not treat an ordinary storefront or gold balance as a substitute for event rules; any future special offer needs its own official announcement.
Are five battles enough for the auction?
No: current auction eligibility requires 1,000 personal Fame Points. The five-battle condition concerns the clan bond multiplier and counts your most recent clan join. Those requirements cannot replace one another.
How many bonds should I save?
Set a maximum acceptable bid after accounting for other purchases you want. Regulations give the number of winning bids, not the future winning amount. Plan bonds around available ordinary battle and mission sources; an old Ranked season is not an active way to accelerate savings.
Should I wait for Chieftain instead of any other tank?
Only if it fits your objective and you accept uncertainty about the next rotation. A vehicle you will regularly use can be more valuable than universal advice to always take the first-ranked option. Somebody else's preference need not become a compulsory use of your Points or bonds.
