WoW Forever keeps level 60 as the character cap while significantly expanding the journey through original Azeroth.
Players will progress through familiar territories, completely new regions, expanded questlines, dungeons, professions, and the Legacy System. More than 1,000 new quests are planned, giving both new characters and alts more routes to reach maximum level.

What Is the Maximum Level in WoW Forever?
The maximum character level is 60.
Leveling revolves primarily around open-world questing and suitable dungeon content. The exact path can vary depending on your race, available zones, professions, and whether you want to complete Legacy objectives along the way.
There is no need for every character to follow exactly the same route. Efficient progression is more about moving between appropriate zones and avoiding quests that no longer provide worthwhile progress.
Starting Levels and Starting Zones

For broader world progress across several regions, Zone Completion covers a wider range of objectives.
Should You Run Dungeons While Leveling?
Yes. Dungeons can provide experience, gear upgrades, and quest completion while breaking up longer periods of open-world questing.
WoW Forever introduces nine new dungeons:
Hall of Thanes;
Ruins of Lordaeron;
Excavation Site: Wetlands;
City of Dalaran;
Blackmaw Hold;
The Drowned City;
Krol'dok Stronghold;
Alcaz Prison;
Shaper's Terrace.
There is little reason to repeatedly grind every dungeon purely for experience. A more efficient approach is usually to enter when the dungeon matches your current progression and offers useful quests or potential gear upgrades.
