Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Launch Date

Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 launched on July 21, 2025, opening a new chapter in WoW Classic. This phase introduced the Pandaren race and Monk class in the magical world of Pandaria.

Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Professions Updates

Professions see major improvements in MoP Classic. In Patch 5.0.5, leveling professions is less tedious. Gathering professions are trainable in Pandaria, simplifying leveling. Crafting brings powerful epics, useful trinkets, and mounts.

Primary professions grant in-game stat boosts aimed at PvE and PvP. Unlike Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria balances combat bonuses, so all professions offer similar stats. Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Raid

Raids in Patch 5.0.5 are top PvE content. Phase 1 introduces the first raid, Mogu'shan Vaults (MSV), a prime gear source while waiting for Tier 14 sets and the next raid.

Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 Gearing

Effective gearing is key in Phase 1, with several ways to raise your item level fast. Quest rewards give early upgrades, crafted epics boost gear significantly, and Heroic dungeons offer pre-raid items. Reputation factions and world bosses add further gear improvements.

Typical gearing progression at level 90:

• Quest Rewards: ilvl 450 rares from zones and scenarios

• Crafted Epics: ilvl 476 gear via max-skill crafting

• Heroic Dungeons: ilvl 463 blues and rare 476 epics

• Reputation Gear: ilvl 489 epics from factions at Revered/Exalted

• World Bosses: Sha of Anger and Galleon drop ilvl 496 epics weekly

• Raids: Mogu’shan Vaults gear at ilvl 489

Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1 New Dungeons

Phase 1 adds six new dungeons tied closely to Pandaren lore and raids, offering valuable loot and story continuation:

• Temple of the Jade Serpent

• Stormstout Brewery

• Shado-Pan Monastery

• Mogu’shan Palace

• Gate of the Setting Sun

• Siege of Niuzao Temple

All dungeons have Heroic versions at level 90 (ilvl 463 loot, rare 476 drops). Two dungeons were also reworked:

• Scholomance: Updated to level 90 with reworked bosses

• Scarlet Halls & Scarlet Monastery: Modernized into two Heroic dungeons

Two major world bosses are active in Phase 1:

• Galleon: Found in the Valley of Four Winds (/way 70.7, 63.6). Drops ilvl 496 loot and Son of Galleon’s Saddle mount.

✏ Tip: Use Elder Charm of Good Fortune for bonus rolls on both bosses. A raid group with roughly ilvl 460 is recommended. No attunement required.
