Unlock and Enhance Sha-Touched Weapons with Powerful Stat Gems in Mists of Pandaria Classic

Overview

Sha-Touched gems are introduced in phase one as part of the first chapter of the legendary cloak questline. These powerful gems can be socketed into Sha-Touched weapons for a major stat boost.

Gem Rewards from Chapter I

Upon completing Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince, the first of five parts of the legendary questline, players receive one gem of their choice. Each gem grants +500 to a primary stat, excluding Stamina:

• Crystallized Dread: +500 Agility

• Crystallized Terror: +500 Strength

• Crystallized Horror: +500 Intellect

These gems can only be placed into weapons that have Sha-Touched sockets.

Sha-Touched Weapons

These weapons come in Normal, Heroic, and Celestial versions. Normal and Heroic drop from Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring raids. Celestial versions become available for purchase 2 weeks after their associated raid's release.

Simply listen to Wrathion’s story.

Trial of the Black Prince

Reach Honored with The Black Prince faction.

• Reputation earned by defeating level 90 Mogu and Mantid enemies in:

  • Vale of Eternal Blossoms

  • Townlong Steppes

  • Dread Wastes

Tip: Use Battle Standard of Coordination for bonus rep.
Note: Rogues with Fangs of the Father may skip this quest.

The Strength of One’s Foes

Collect:

• 10 Sigil of Power

• 10 Sigil of Wisdom

These drop from raid bosses in:

• Mogu’shan Vaults

• Heart of Fear

• Terrace of Endless Spring

In MoP Classic, with no Raid Finder, Celestial Dungeon end bosses have a chance to drop them.

Chimera of Fear

Defeat Sha of Fear in Terrace of Endless Spring to get the Chimera of Fear.

• You may instead choose to defeat Sha of Doubt and collect Chimera of Doubt to follow Wrathion’s alternate path.

Final Quest: (Quest #31482)

Go to the top of Mason’s Folly to meet Wrathion and receive your reward:

Choose one gem:

• Crystallized Dread: +500 Agility

• Crystallized Terror: +500 Strength

• Crystallized Horror: +500 Intellect
