Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph: Rewards and Major Changes
Monument of Triumph is now available to all Destiny 2 players. The update launched on June 9, 2026, and its activities and rewards will remain permanently available.
It is the final major update of Destiny 2’s active development period and includes changes across destinations, rewards, weapons, armor, raids, dungeons, Pantheon, Sparrow Racing League, and general progression.
What Is Monument of Triumph?
Monument of Triumph is a permanent celebration of Destiny 2’s history and player achievements. A new monument has been constructed in the center of the Tower Courtyard, introducing a dedicated Triumph category and reward system.
Players can complete Triumphs throughout the game, earn Legendary Marks, and exchange them with four Guardian Tenet vendors in the Tower.
Available rewards include:
Free armor ornaments
Cosmetic accessories
Weapon engrams
A new Title
A new armor ornament set
Additional commemorative rewards
The Monument, Triumphs, and their associated rewards will remain available indefinitely. Players do not need to complete everything during a limited season.
How to Earn Legendary Marks
Legendary Marks are earned by completing objectives in the new Monument of Triumph category. The Triumphs cover a wide range of Destiny 2 activities, allowing players to progress through their preferred content.
Objectives may involve:
Raids
Dungeons
Strikes
Destination activities
Crucible
Gambit
Weapons and equipment
Other permanent Destiny 2 activities
Once earned, Legendary Marks can be exchanged with the Guardian Tenet vendors in the Tower. Rewards are divided between four vendors, so check each inventory before spending your currency.
The Director Returns
Monument of Triumph restores the Director as the primary way to navigate Destiny 2. Players can once again select destinations and activities directly from the Solar System map.
The updated Director includes Kepler and the Lawless Frontier alongside existing destinations. This makes permanent content easier to locate and gives returning players a clearer overview of available activities.
Instead of navigating several disconnected menus, players can quickly select a destination, inspect available activities, and begin their next objective.
Activity Difficulty and Reward Changes
The update introduces major changes to activity difficulty and rewards. Destinations, Patrol activities, playlists, and progression sources have all received adjustments.
The goal is to make more activities rewarding regardless of whether players prefer exploration, competitive modes, or challenging group content.

25 New Exotic Weapon Catalysts
The update adds 25 new Exotic weapon catalysts. Several older catalysts have also received additional perks.
These changes give previously released Exotic weapons new build possibilities. Players should check their Vaults and Collections because older weapons may become valuable again after unlocking the new upgrades.
Sparrow Racing League Returns
Sparrow Racing League has returned to Destiny 2 as part of Monument of Triumph. Players can once again compete on racing tracks, improve their times, and collect related rewards.
Completed Sparrow Racing League matches also appear in player game history on Bungie.net. A post-launch update fixed an issue that prevented some race results from displaying correctly.
The returning mode provides a different experience for players who want a break from traditional combat activities.
A New Pantheon Experience
Monument of Triumph includes a new set of Pantheon raid activities. It follows the core structure of the original Pantheon while introducing different bosses, new rewards, additional conditions, and updated encounters.
Fireteams must defeat a sequence of raid bosses while dealing with increasing difficulty. The new Pantheon is designed for experienced groups and provides a challenging test of damage strategies, survivability, and team coordination.

More Vault Space and Loadout Slots
To support the large number of new and updated rewards, Bungie has expanded Vault space and added more loadout slots.
The additional storage makes it easier to keep weapons and armor for multiple builds. Extra loadout slots allow players to switch between prepared configurations for raids, dungeons, Gambit, and PvP activities.

After returning to Destiny 2, visit the Tower and locate the Monument of Triumph in the center of the Courtyard. Review the new Triumph category and inspect the rewards offered by all four Guardian Tenet vendors.
