Strengths

• Easy engage with point-and-click CC.

• Has one of the best escape teleports in the game.

Weaknesses

• Her ultimate can be countered by items like Ethereal Shift.

• Doesn’t offer much utility if she falls behind.

Card Trick (1)

Deal weapon damage to summon cards. Activate to throw a card that flies towards the enemy or point under your crosshair.

Card Trick Upgrades:

Maxing Card Trick gives it a 2nd charge, additional damage, and accelerates its summoning rate, maximizing her long-range poke potential.

Tips for Card Trick:

Use Card Trick's splash to damage enemies hiding behind cover. This can be particularly effective in lane as you can force lane opponents behind cover, hit them with splash, and then win out in long trades.

Project Mind (2)

Teleport to the targeted location.

Project Mind Upgrades:

Maxing Project Mind makes Wraith incredibly hard to catch by giving her teleport a big boost in range, adding a shield upon finishing the teleport, and letting her cast it more often.

Tips for Project Mind:

When split-pushing, always have an escape plan in mind, whether it’s a nearby rooftop or to your zipline. Predict where you’re going before trouble comes.

With strong map awareness, you can be an oppressive force in shoving lanes and punishing the enemy team if they aren’t respecting you.

Full Auto (3)

Temporarily boosts your fire rate. Nearby allies receive half the fire rate bonus.

Full Auto Upgrades:

Maxing Full Auto augments your attack speed steroid with a reduced cooldown, added Spirit Damage per bullet, and even some Bullet Lifesteal.

Tips for Full Auto:

Remember that this not only buffs your teammates but also your Trooper waves, which boosts your pushing power even more when applying map pressure.

Telekinesis (4)

Lift an enemy hero into the air, stunning them for a short time. When the lift ends, the target receives Telekinesis damage.

Telekinesis Upgrades:

Maxing Telekinesis cuts down its cooldown by a third, increases its duration, and even turns it from a single-target to an AoE ability.

Tips for Telekinesis:

Get in the habit of watching what the enemy team is building and adjust your game plan based on who builds items that can counter Telekinesis.
Try to avoid the ones that do build counter items or track their cooldowns if they use it on one of your allies instead.

How to Counter Wraith

Wraith players will often save up their Card Trick for a big combo. If they have recently used their cards, it might be a good opportunity to fight them, so be sure to track them floating above her head.

Never underestimate Wraith's pushing power. If you see her split pushing, your team should likely send someone to slow her wave before she's in your base.

If Wraith casts her ult Telekinesis on you from a distance, you might have some time to create more distance between you before it lands. If you react quickly enough, you may be able to find cover or get to nearby allies.

Wraith Build Guide

Wraith is a high fire rate weapon damage carry. This build utilizes her fire rate with Tesla Bullets to power farm and become a bruiser in teamfights with Siphon Bullets.

Early Game
You ALWAYS level Card Trick at level 1 first to have kill pressure in the lane. Remember to always be firing so you can charge up your cards.

First, buy Extra Charge and Mystic Burst to establish a strong lane presence and kill pressure!

Extra Stamina and Extra Health give us the early tankiness we need to survive harder lanes.

Make sure to use Healing Rite in lane and while farming our jungle; it does not cancel when taking damage from jungle creeps and hitting Sinner's Sacrifice.

Mid Game

Next, you MUST save up for Tesla Bullets to increase farm and wave-clear speed, which will help you get the rest of your core items.

Round out with Quicksilver Reload and Intensifying Magazine to increase our weapon damage.

Next, buy Bullet Resist Shredder to round out our damage!

The newly buffed Enchanter's Barrier is our new defense against Spirit Damage and has great synergy with both Tesla Bullets and Card Trick.
