Access Calling Card Challenges through the “Challenges” button in the Barracks tab. Here, you can explore Challenges across all four modes, organized into different categories:

  • Career
  • Battle Hardened
  • Prestige (Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone only)
  • Dark Ops

Earning Calling Cards

Calling Cards and their corresponding Challenges are organized into categories, each containing multiple sets of Calling Cards to earn and complete. To finish a set, you must earn every individual Calling Card within it, unlocking the Animated Mastery Calling Card for that set.

Prestige Challenges

Career and Battle Hardened aren’t the only Calling Card Challenge categories available at launch. Players who reach a new Prestige will unlock an additional Challenge set for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone (Season 01) each time they enter a new Prestige.

With 10 Prestiges plus Prestige Master, that means an extra 11 Challenge sets to complete in each mode for those committed enough to reach Prestige Master.

Dark Ops Challenges

It wouldn’t be a Black Ops game without Dark Ops Calling Card Challenges! Returning for the first time since Black Ops Cold War, these Challenges involve mysterious tasks where the unlock criteria remain hidden until you complete them. Are you ready to prove yourself worthy of Dark Ops Mastery?

For the first time ever, Dark Ops Calling Cards will also be available in Call of Duty: Warzone (Season 01).

Earn a set number of Dark Ops Calling Cards in Multiplayer, Zombies, Campaign, or Call of Duty: Warzone (Season 01) to achieve Dark Ops Mastery for that mode.

100 Percenter Cards

Challenge chasers will be excited to learn that “100 Percenter” completion Animated Calling Cards will be available in Black Ops 6 at launch for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone. The challenge grind is real this year, and players who manage to complete every Calling Card Challenge in a given mode will earn that mode’s “100 Percenter” Card for ultimate bragging rights.

NOTE: Only Career, Battle Hardened, and Prestige Challenges contribute toward 100 Percent completion. Dark Ops Calling Cards do not count toward the 100%.

Show off your dedication and skill to friends and rivals alike. Be sure to add your three favorite Calling Cards to your Showcase as part of your Player Profile in the Social menu.

Calling Card Reward Highlights

With over 450 Calling Cards to earn through Challenges, players can expect a wide variety of options to unlock and display in their profiles. Here’s a selection:

Weapon Camos

Global System (Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone)
Navigate to: Weapons > Loadouts > Gunsmith > Cosmetics

Weapon Camos: System Overview

The Weapon Camo system in Black Ops 6 has been significantly revamped. Drawing inspiration from past Headshot-based Camo Challenges in previous Black Ops games while incorporating elements from modern Camo systems, this new approach eliminates many of the barriers that previously disrupted the flow of earning Camos. The result is a more streamlined and rewarding Camo progression for each weapon. For the first time, Call of Duty: Warzone will also have its own dedicated Camo journey, featuring unique Camos and Challenges exclusive to Warzone (in Season 01).

No Weapon Leveling Needed

In Black Ops 6, unlocking Weapon Camos starts as soon as you acquire a weapon—no Weapon Leveling required. You can earn Camos at your own pace without any restrictions.

Mastery Badges

Global System (Multiplayer, Zombies)
Navigate to: Barracks > Challenges > Mastery Badges

Mastery Badges: System Overview

Prove your skill and proficiency with each Weapon, Equipment, Field Upgrade, and Scorestreak by unlocking a series of Mastery Badges in Multiplayer and Zombies as you play Black Ops 6.

Each piece of gear has its own unique Mastery Badge progression in both Multiplayer and Zombies, provided the item is available in both modes. Demonstrating proficiency with a piece of content allows you to advance through its three Badge Tiers:

  • Badge I (Bronze)
  • Badge II (Silver)
  • Mastery Badge (Gold + Stat Tracker)

Mastery Badges are earned by successfully using each piece of equipment. Here’s how different types of Badges are progressed in Multiplayer:

  • Weapons: Get eliminations with the weapon.
  • Frag Lethal Equipment: Get kills with Frag grenades.
  • Prox Alarm Tactical Equipment: Kill enemies detected by Prox Alarms.
  • Trophy System: Intercept enemy projectiles using the Trophy System.
  • RC-XD: Get kills using the RC-XD.

Mastery Badges Per Mode

Both Multiplayer and Zombies have their own sets of Badges, tracked and unlocked separately for equipment available in both modes. For instance, the Frag Grenade has a separate Badge track for Multiplayer and Zombies. You can earn each Badge by using the Lethal Equipment in its respective mode.

Once you unlock the Mastery Badge for a piece of content, a Stat Tracker is added to it, showing how many times you’ve succeeded with that content. Want to show off that you've achieved 10,000 eliminations with your favorite weapon? Now you can.

Category Mastery

Diamond Badge Upgrade and Category Mastery

To earn the Diamond Badge Upgrade, you need to unlock the Mastery Badge for the required number of item types within each Badge Category. Once achieved, all Mastery Badges in that category automatically receive a Diamond Badge Upgrade, along with a significant XP Bonus. For example, in Multiplayer, players can earn Diamond Badges for the Scorestreak Category by earning Gold Mastery Badges with 18 Scorestreaks (the number of available Scorestreaks at launch in Black Ops 6).

Showcasing Your Badges

Your Mastery Badges are displayed in your Showcase within the Social Menu and appear in the Winner’s Circle at the end of Multiplayer matches. By default, your top three Badges are automatically equipped to your Showcase, but players can manually choose which Badges to display. The Badge of the killing weapon is also shown in the KillCam, letting your opponent know how much dedication you've put into mastering that weapon.
