Season Transition - Diablo 4
Season 7: Season of Witchcraft begins right after the conclusion of Season of Hatred Rising. At that point, all existing seasonal characters will be moved to the Eternal Realm, and you'll need to create a new character to participate in Season 7.
All items from your Season 6 character's Stash will be transferred to a new Withdraw Only Stash tab in your Eternal Realm Stash. You can retrieve these items at any time during Season 7, but when the season ends, the Withdraw Only Stash tab will be cleared, and any remaining items will be permanently lost.
Powers of Witchcraft - Diablo 4
Witch Powers are the newest Seasonal Mechanic in Diablo 4, offering players direct borrowed power for the first time since Season of Blood's Vampiric Powers. The interface for Witch Powers will feel somewhat familiar to those who played in Season 2.
There are 24 Witch Powers in total: 7 Eldritch Powers, 6 Psyche Powers, 7 Growth & Decay Powers, and 4 Lost Powers. Witch Powers come in Normal and Unique qualities and are learned at the Altars of the Covens.
Headhunts - Diablo 4
Headhunts are zone events similar to Helltides, rotating periodically between zones of Sanctuary. These events feature multiple Whispers, allowing players to quickly farm Grim Favors and earn rewards from the Tree of Whispers.
Participating in Headhunts and turning in Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers will reward players with the materials needed to craft Occult Gems, which enhance abilities with powerful benefits.
Occult Gems - Diablo 4
Occult Gems are similar to Legendary Gems from Diablo 3, though they tend to have a less game-changing impact for the most part. These Gems vary in quality and can be upgraded to further enhance their power.
There are a total of 19 Occult Gems, with benefits ranging from improved stats to directly increasing the damage of certain abilities. Some Occult Gems also interact with Witch Powers, increasing their potency and reducing Skill Cooldowns.
The Armory - Diablo 4
Season 7 introduces a long-requested quality of life improvement for Diablo players: the Armory. The Armory allows players to quickly switch between up to 5 different builds in a matter of seconds.
Armory Loadouts save equipment, skills, and complete Paragon setups. By selecting a different loadout, players can swiftly swap their gear, Active and Passive Skills, Paragon boards, Glyphs, and nodes.
