Optimize Your PoE 2 Build: Efficient Respec Tips for Passive Skill Changes

PoE 2: How to Respec Passives

How to Respec Passives

Thank you for your interest in our guide, if you don't want to waste your time on routine, then we recommend you to use our boosting services. For you a bonus of 20% discount by promo code GAID20.

Early in Act 1, as you progress through the storyline with Una, you’ll encounter and revive the Hooded One. By speaking with him, you can refund your Passive Points on the Skill Tree, allowing you to adjust your character’s build as you see fit.

Gold Cost

Refunding your Passive Points requires Gold. At the start, this cost won’t be too high, making it manageable if you want to invest points early for extra power and then quickly respec. However, the cost will scale as your character’s level increases, so a complete respec later in the game can become quite expensive.

We don’t yet know the exact Gold amounts involved, but once you start running Maps and earning more rewards, the cost shouldn’t be too burdensome.

Big Respecs

Some players have encountered issues or bugs when refunding and reassigning passive skills simultaneously. To ensure you avoid these potential problems, try to refund a few passives at a time before rebuilding your tree gradually. This cautious approach will help prevent errors and ensure your new build is set up without complications.

Respeccing Travel Nodes

For travel or attribute nodes, you can directly change the attribute as you refund them. Simply click on the node and choose the new attribute you want. This process still costs gold, and the price can add up in the endgame, so plan your changes carefully in advance.
